Local story as told to me by a friend of a friend.

A gent in my home town dropped a 22 mag pocket revolver while transitioning his stuff out of his truck.
Of course it hit heel down and misfired toward his torso.
His wife came out of the house to check on him while he was looking to see if he was hit. He dropped trou and felt around and finally felt a wet spot in the taint area. The wife looked and could see a small blood spot yet no external bleeding.
She said, You better get to the hospital.
He replied, Na, It'll be ..........Ding Ding' He fainted.
He lost several feet of Colon. Spent several weeks in a Rehab facility.
There's some deadly defense loads out there, if it doesn't kill ya they'll make you wish you were dead.

The best 22mag that I have found is the CCI TNT at 2,200FPS with a 40grain bullet! If I didn’t carry a 45acp RIP I would carry the 22mag TNT for sure!

What are your thoughts on it so far?? Is it any good or reliable?? 22wmr in a handgun is so freakin fun!! I have a AMT Automag 2 and its freakin amazing!! Great trigger great sights and very reliable plus great lookin gun as well! The only drawback to the gun is its only a 10+1 so not really ideal for defense or anything but boy is it an amazing lil range(and sometimes bunting) gun that ill def be holding on to for years to come
