Boox Note Air 3C - Best digital notebook now with color E-ink display !

Been contemplating getting this one or the Tab Mini C, curious to see how it plays Match 3 games (Bejeweled, Candy Crush, Puzzle Dragon) and Wordsearch games. I know its not intended for gaming, but with it having Android, would be cool to be able to read and maybe play a few rounds of Candy crush here and there.

You device woke up as soon as you touched the power button. On mine I have to press and hold the button for a couple of seconds, and then wait for a few more seconds until it wakes up. Is there a setting to speed up the waking up? My cover also isn't waking it up.

I just ordered a Supernote because I heard the battery life is really poor on the Note Air 3 C. Is that correct? How long do you get out of a full charge ?

I currently own, and use daily, a Supernote A5x and love it, however I have been looking into something like this to replace it with. I want to read more, specifically graphic novels and comics, but I also take a LOT of notes. Something like this might be a good fit rather than getting a smaller color e-reader to be a companion device to the Supernote.

I have a question; who need this? If you just want to write "notes", post-it will do most of the time, or you can have a laptop for the same price. Journaling? You might not want to upload your personal life to a server. Reading? It's kind of expensive for that.

So, who do you think would really need this?

The trade off between gray background (without artificial device light) and color must be evaluated by each person, the washed out colors may be of less importance.

I think in a couple of generations the e-paper LCD or eink will have acceptable colors, speed and white background. Until then I’ll stay with my black and white.

everything fine but price is rip off

Nice review. I am torn between the NA3C and the Boox Go 10.3. I prefer the lack of frontlight on the Go as the writing looks better/closer to screen BUT I prefer the NA3C for the expandable storage via the SD slot... then again I wouldnt like having to constantly use the frontlight to brighten up the NA3C screen.... Latency looks amazing on the NA3C though whereas I heard the Go had a juddering issue with latency... might have to get both and see which one I like best in real life :D
