I would have loved to see Matt protecting Vanessa from Bullseye, and her defending her title as the Kingpin of NY while Fisk is in prision, maybe against a new threat like The Owl, Muse or The Rose. Also I would have liked to see Typhoid Mary and Mr. Fear. The season could have ended with Bullseye managing to kill Vanessa, dooming Matt's future since now Fisk has no reason to protect Daredevil's identity. That could lead to S5, based on Bendis' run, with Matt having his identity leaked, entering prison and even becoming the Kingpin of NY. Who knows, The Hand might have been returned.

Mayor fisk and the stupid cop storyline weren't good arcs, and they didnt 'have' to change punisher's logo and no one was misusing it.

Not that it matters, but Fisk wouldn't have to "outlaw" vigilantes in NY... Vigilantes are already illegal.

It's been annoyingly back and forth whether or not the previous Daredevil and Punisher show is canon to this. Last I heard, they changed it, and it is all canon again.
