What happened to Katie?
Ответить“Interrupting a funeral to have a fight with you wife”. 😂. That was gold. I probably watched Walter say that that 10 times. Hilarious.
Ответить230 was pushed thru by the Clinton’s and Perkins coie so it’s something else to hear the grand hag ranting about it
ОтветитьThere is a large segment of American society that is not comfortable with independence. It was inevitable with such large segments of the population dependent on government jobs, government contracts, and government entitlements. Those types of people won’t be bothered by an authoritative “deep state” “coming out of the closet”.
ОтветитьIf Walter Kirn thinks that “Zero Dark Thirty” was somehow romanticizing the Intelligence community I think he is letting his own personal biases affect what he is watching. The film itself takes an arms length view of the hunt for bin Laden, allowing the viewer to make their own opinion about the events transpiring in front of them.
ОтветитьThe loss of Empire will entail reduction in the material abundance and the associated lifestyle which will upset a lot of people. That's what's coming after tis election. And highlights the desire for control...
ОтветитьWalter, you look the same as always which is to say very good.
ОтветитьThe comparison shouldn't be to Caesar, its to Caligula.
ОтветитьWalter appears sober - excellent software ;)
ОтветитьThey had TOTAL CONTROL in the broadcast era - now with the two way network, they've lost control of the great and small narratives ... Like their last successful Big Lie (that got them their Iraq war) had to be at the expense of a 3000 lives in a catalyzing event they engineered, and lasted about 3 years (the debut of 'Omissions and Distortions' by David Ray Griffin - November 30, 2004) - vs the Warren Commission Report that had legs for 30 years in the broadcast era (debut of JFK Dec 1991). Bernie scared the hell out of the elites - his run in 2016 proved a majority wanted socialism back as part of the American experiment. Ever since they've been trying to hammer that fact into a grave 60 feet deep.
ОтветитьWith an open network (pre 2014; CIA inwardly directed psychological operations begin) we were becoming Very Good at debunking BS on the internet (a collective process); including the national security state's BS. :)
Ответить'$5 Trillion Iraq war cost' --- doesn't include the cost of the greatest mass migration of people since World War Two - that happened in the Middle East caused by our destabilizing regime change wars - who had to be housed and supported until they learned enough English (German, French) to join the work force (thus further suppressing sub-living-wage levels faced by so many in the G-7 advanced-monopoly-economies the result of previous neocon interventions that exported 30% of our economies' industrial-base living wage jobs. The pile on effect of economic and war evil, is great.
ОтветитьAppalachia - Biden said they 'pre-positioned' aide - in other words they knew the ground was saturated with Helene on coarse to the NOAA data collection office at Asheville. The NOAA map the week before Helene made landfall had !5 flash flood warning points in an area covering 500 miles of the mountain areas from Georgia to Virginia. The whole area should have been coloured RED. The way they did it - all the poor people's land is now free for the taking by Wall Street (just like New Orleans).
Ответитьevery lie has five lies around it that are connected to 25 other lies - a lie universe.
ОтветитьIn a paranoid paradigm, the dumbest of us are genius.
ОтветитьMaddow is Chicken Little, and the foxes (CIA) are throwing acorns on everyone that they're about to have dinner 'with'.
Ответитьif there dissociative behavior - the Russians did it using the magic internet photons
ОтветитьThink I'm seeing this: bad thing as the 'whistle' - PR framing phrase follows - we remember the BS PR point and forget the whistle (cause we hate dissonance).
ОтветитьImportant to remember the ugly part - in Trump's phrasing, migrants are cast as 'sub-Americans' (Americans are the exceptional people of the exceptional nation) - they eat cats and dogs, like Asians eating dog is seen as subhuman by people with ethnocentric view of the world.
(and he writes with a Thesaurus ('catalogue' rhymes (badly) with 'dogs') - that's cheating in my book :)
Great episode Matt and Walter - thanks for continuing this show.
ОтветитьWe lose total control (?)
ОтветитьDid Kerry prompt this?
ОтветитьMy Lai Massacre
ОтветитьKerry’s point was about free speech being a block to building consensus.
ОтветитьOur Democracy is elected.
ОтветитьAfraid
ОтветитьGood points Walter. We need to do this anyway.
ОтветитьGood points Walter. We need to do this anyway.
ОтветитьRemember that in the 50’s, Russia used disinformation to confuse the American population.
ОтветитьHow can anyone as smart as Walter, smoke? Or is that a THC delivery device🎉
ОтветитьBill clinton. Has many reason to run away from this homely bitsh
ОтветитьWhat about the transgender push by our government does! That needs to be removed if we want to protect our children .

ОтветитьLooking good to me, Walter!
ОтветитьKids shouldn't be on social media. Sounds like an ulterior motive. More drivel from Killary. We were always taught "information is power" as children. Managerialism never got a thing right, take McNamara, how badly he screwed the pooch with Vietnam. They keep doing the same thing.
Morning Joe not happy - I'm happy.
I personally wouldn't want to cross Elon. Hilary and Hubris go hand & hand.
ОтветитьWhen I heard the cats and dogs story I'm so soft hearted I thought oh those poor people are so hungry they're eating whatever they can find.
ОтветитьAfter working in public schools I have a hypothesis that when they decided to hold schools accountable by forcing them to give corporate mass produced tests written in ridiculous language to students. Then teachers had to teach to the tests rather than teach the students appropriate to the students in their classes. Part of learning is curiosity and interest, and applying it or having it be relatable to yourself and your environment. Questioning and being creative are not fostered by these tests. They become adults that don't know how to question and analyze.
ОтветитьI would encourage Matt and Walter to look closely at what Trump did in Portland. That was definitely fascistic.
