Is train to change just workouts or does it offer support to help increase calories without gaining a bunch of weight?

The link to work with tyler takes you to the train to change link. Is this accurate?

Both should investigate Lactobacillus Reuteri Probiotic. It can help you gain muscle while you lose waist size and maintain weight. Once per day before bed with a "pre-biotic" food.

Minute 29 😅 sneaky sneaky! Tyler’s asks how many calories did you cut on and she says her maintenance was 28-2900 but never shares her cut.

Would love to see you share this very objective data.
Especially as you’re open to sharing and saying people should eat more 😅 would love objectivity on how you approached this cut

❤thanks for having him amazing

What about running is considered bad? I keep hearing this. but is a brisk walk or hike all that different from jogging. Is that the reasoning behind 12k steps/day for fat loss or is that just preference?

I’ve been living with anorexia for my whole life and chronically under eating.

Roughly daily intake around 800 cal day.

How would I raise my BMR and intake? Without gaining weight/ fat.

When you say increasing by 50 cals a week, is this in totally per week or adding 50 cals per day for a week?

Do you have a framework to how to get yourself out of under eating? I’m scared and overwhelmed.

195 lbs at 6 foot tall is unimpressive. He should at least be 225 if you are going to 'bodybuild' (which is just repacking body dysmorphia for young men). This guy needs to hop on Starting Strength and get stronger.

I thought there’s always lipolysis going on to some extent. Why would you not be able to lose fat sustainably at caloric maintenance with macro nutrients shifted to higher carbs lower fat?

Can you please do a similar episode but with an older woman (instead of a young man)?

Super valuable and useful episode with a lot of pratical advice, that people can implement to improve. I have absolutely loved it. Thanks. :)
Being in a deficit long-term is just not life. It would be hibernation, degradation and downregulation of all of our functions and structure. Energy is really everything.
Therefore slowly building up metabolism is super important and must be prioritized and really the most ideal approach long-term instead of aiming to quick fix things.
Another thing, that is really important to know, is that people may bump into serious roadblocks, when they want to build up a really good metabolism and body, that functions outstandingly. These roadblocks are often rooted in the gut and also related to the thyroid - although there can be other things like heavy metals, mold toxicity, stress, circadian related, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, etc. All of these things can inhibit optimal metabolic function, serve as limiting factors for the metabolism, therefore slowly adding more calories while any of these issues are present will not be enough in and of itself - although slowly adding more calories are part of the foundations of course, being extremely important to do.
For this reason people can feel like they are doing everything and they are doing everything well, yet they still have issues and they cannot get their metabolism up.
For me I mainly have gut issues and hypothyroidsm.
When it comes to gut issues, that can be more complex to address. Even, if you work with people, they may just ignore that and your thyroid issues or maybe they aim to resolve your gut issues, yet they do not seem to be able to really deal with more complex cases - and they do not even realize the thyroid issue, which in and of itself can cause gut issues or amplify them further; and they also rather seem to do guesswork for the gut issues as well and not addressing certain areas to any degree and ignoring certain things 100%.
For the thyroid I am pretty clearly hypothyroid even, if I eat at maintenance. My thyroid blood work is all in the reference range, however the references ranges are pretty much completely useless and even without doing any thyroid bloodwork there are crystal clear indicators, that will confidently show, that I am hypothyroid.
Taking NDT in and of itself have helped a lot for me for metabolism, digestion, energy levels, quality of life, mood, being more social, etc.
Addressing the gut a 100% is in progress and slowly reversing out of the deficit as well and building up a really solid metabolism. I much prefer the approach, that You do as well. I do it similarly, adding ~ 50 kcal every other week, if the weekly average body weight and waistline suggest me, to do that.
Altough I work with others, because I want to learn as much I possibly can and improve and have a deeper and deeper understanding of everything and have different perspectives and experiment I never really just follow and I know what is the most ideal way for me to go about things - although I always reconsider things and can change my perspective on things over time, if it really make sense.
I have a small software developer company and I think I like what I am doing, however I am also highly passionate about the health space and eager to improve on that area a lot - partly because of my background of having many problems and working on them - and I find the most value in the health area over everything else for sure and I know, that people need to improve in that area the most.
So, overall, if I would have the opportunity to shift from software development to working in the health space, helping people as much as I can, then maybe I will do that. It will may or may not happen after more or less time. We will see. (The similarity between the health area and in what I do in terms of software development is, that I work on a complex software system, so that I need a deep understanding of what way things work, addressing root causes instead of symptomatically trying to fix things - which would guarantee disaster likewise it does for our health.) Currently I am working on improving myself in the area and getting outstanding results. Until I do not get there I will probably not really aim to start a business or service or join to others in the health space. My case is more of a challenging one, so if can get from where I am to a really great place, then that itself would be a proof, that I can likewise help people to get there as well. :)
(I have also found the video and audio quality unusually good. Although I do not really focus on these and the content itself is much more important and give us the most value. Also just seeing the radiating positivity and energy from both of You was a great experience in itself, I have loved that. :))
(For now I do not want to go into details on who have I worked with so far and who I or we currently work together with - (!) You could have even done a podcast together with Them for example centered around the gut and thyroid; Tyler have already done a podcast with Them :) -, however if You are interested, I may give You more details in DMs, when I will have time.)
Thanks again. :)
