This is what children needs (for their phantasy) the best education..but the temperature..is a real problem (painfull) ..extremities..the engineers have..I hope..(a solution)..John Silvester & cameraman..to see a pioneer, is best inspiration for all humans..

Thank you for sharing. I have been searching for this video for a few years. It is one of the most memorable documentaries I have seen.

Hundreds of tourists go to Karakoram. all admiration to the gentlemen here especially the cameraman who made it interesting for all of us to watch and appreciate.

Just out of curiosity...how crazy would one have to be to land on top of K2? Is it even possible?

Amazing! Thanks for sharing. I've flown a Cessna once over the mountains in Gilgit, but haven't learned how to paraglide yet. A couple questions: 1) Was the temperature at the peak altitude any lower than at the ground from where you took off? 2) Did you need any oxygen-supply equipment? I ask this because the air is normally very thin at high altitudes, and makes breathing difficult.
