I got so much interest on vande bharat and upcoming fast trains. But it all shattered when i heard the official news that vande Bharats speed has been deliberately reduced considering safety reasons as the rails are not safe for such high speeds.
If we can't even step up to 150 or 170 when are we going to cross the 200 or 300+ benchmark set by other countries. I wish we beat their records in our generation itself...

Vande Bharat is not hauled by a locomotive rather every coach has electric motors which makes rapid acceleration and deceleration.Even locomotives also has rapid acceleration capability but its rapid deceleration which counts.We cannot do it for locomotive pulled trains simply derailed and loss of lives

The CSMT Nizamuddin Rajdhani also has good acceleration. It has more coaches and rely on 2 WAP7 for good pick up. Interestingly LHB coaches are tested for long distance trains ie above 1000km but Vande Bharat trains for such long distances not available but likely to come soon.❤
