@wildhearth This looks like two different bulls than the two were were fighting a few days ago. These bulls don't like competition! One salt lick last many months if it is kept off of the ground. Rain and wet ground will make it de-solve quickly. However, the animals will eat the salty soil if that happens.
This camera senses the heat from the animals body and is activated to shoot depending on how it is programmed. I used to set my cameras for photos, because they are easy to share. I now program for videos most of the time. The reason we started this channel is to share the beauty of these animals in the wild. I particularly love the night shots. It is the most secret view possible of these unassuming animals.
We live off grid in Central Ontario, and have two hundred acres of wilderness. Our property is a mix of open field, forest and beaver ponds. There is a small river that winds through a corner of our property. The bush is thick and difficult to get through. I think this is why we have so much game. The animals feel safe because there is plenty of cover. I have about a dozen cameras in the bush at any time. This gives enough eyes in the bush to capture a lot of interesting interactions. If I had too many, it becomes difficult to manage, and that would not be fun for me. This is a hobby I do for fun after all.
