You held off against the Purple belts quite well.
Good shit.
Jui Jitsu is addictive
Ответитьhave fun , its a journey.
ОтветитьBrown belt, been at it 9 years. This was super impressive. Way better than i was the first month 😂
ОтветитьDude this was sooo cool. You’re amazing
ОтветитьI just hit my first month. Some guys with 2 years of xp are starting to have hard time man-handling me like they used to.. guys with 3 months or less.. I'm tapping them left and right. I did train about 10 years ago for few months though. I'm 34 right now, been eating well, taking protein, stretching and attending 5 days a week. We have several black belts, brown belts and purple belts in my gym. They train bfl and even ufc fighters. It's been amazing so far. Every day I feel like I'm better than the day before and some days I feel like I suck but I do know I'm improving and I'm not letting that get in my way. Today's rolling was amazing. Rolled 4 dudes and wasn't put of breath by the end of it. My stamina, strength, grip, body shape, etc. All improved so much just in 30 days! It is important to take time off if your body is telling you to do so. I'm generally pretty fit and always been working hard and doing physical stuff. It is important to remember not to push it too hard if you feel you shouldn't. Start on the ground to avoid knee injuries. I found this stuff to help me as I played it wrong the first time around, 10 years ago when I got badly injured. Hope you stick with it.. I can't wait to compete!
ОтветитьJiu Jitsu requires countless hours of rolling to get the muscle memory locked. For me, JJ dummy is useless for me. Getting private lessons is gold!
ОтветитьWell done! You re a natural!
Ответитьplease do judo
Ответитьvery nicely done!!
ОтветитьHi Kize!
I've been watching your videos (great stuff by the way) and
I love that type of content about trying a new sport or physical activity. I've been thinking of doing videos like this. But let me ask you, how do you get in contact with the coach's or present your idea? Cause I imagined it would be awkward If I started to go to jiujitsu classes and just bring my camera along in a place with people with whom I have no type of friendship 😅 Do you get in contact with the academy/gym first? Are they usually open about this stuff?
Lots of questions haha I'd really appreciate your help!
Brazylian Jujitsu is very good. I myself had a suggestion to try BJJ, it is supposedly a martial art for everyone, but it is not recommended for people with heart problem. Maybe next on martial arts karate? Kize, it is great
ОтветитьYour open guard was unreal for someone just starting. I hope you continue.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьyou should have subscribed to a tournment
ОтветитьThat was a heck of a transformation in skill level in a very short time! 👍 👍 Keep it going!
ОтветитьSo much Jiu Jitsu in Austin now
Ответить“this crowd is like a wii crowd” “yayyy yayyy ayyyy” 😂 😂
ОтветитьI've had 80 lessons in jiu-jitsu and I've NEVER SPARRED or ROLLED yet. I'm focused on drilling the fundamental techniques. When I get my blue belt, I'll spar...maybe. 😂 I'm doing self defense not sport. 2 words: PUNCH PROTECTION.
ОтветитьIm a 3 stripe white belt thats been active for over 3 years just been inconsistent. Your growth was me when i first started because i went to the classes and instead of yapping with the other kids i watched the instructor and got the information. Id say youre already a 1 stripe white belt.
ОтветитьI’m about to start jujitsu so this is really cool
ОтветитьThis is so great. Can you share your flow chart?
Ответитьbravo hope your still rocking this sport
ОтветитьI love jujitsu I am a 4th year at doing and I do the big competitions like the Arnold classic hope you keep up with it
Ответить@KizeBae Hi! I discovered your channel through your Muay Thai video. I was wondering if you could do a video on judo. I think it could be an interesting experience.
ОтветитьCan you share your flowchart?
ОтветитьIm 42, a disabled veteran with bad knees. I started 2 months ago and I love it.
ОтветитьWow the way you pass guards and pull triangles for being just 30 days in is incredible. I hope you keep going with your bjj training, you are clearly talented
Ответитьcan u share your beginner BJJ notes? Thank u!
ОтветитьJust finished my first bjj class practiced with a black belt who’s been doing bjj 20+ years and it was humbling. Things that look easy on tv seem impossible and the seemingly simple drills make you feel like a dumb*ss. I was most excited to roll until about one minute into it because I was completely gassed. I got kinda laughed at by my coach cause I tried faking one way and going the other to pass guard and he goes “wouldn’t be fun if it was that easy” lmao. He did tell me I did a good job defending an armbar he actually tried doing. I knew he could tap me out in 10 seconds if he really wanted to but I wasn’t submitted so I’m wearing that as a badge of honor. Oh be prepared to sweat your tits off. Bring electrolytes
Ответитьmia needs her own channel
ОтветитьWOW! I have been wanting to take martial arts classes, but I wanted to see what it is was truly like as a beginner. Your video gave my peace of mind, as I thought to myself on how hard it may be for me to remember the moves, but your mentioning how it was for you in the beginning to remember once you were on the floor gave me hope! I'm excited to start Jiu Jitsu!
ОтветитьHaha I had the pleasure of training with David out in aspen! Great guy with great jiujitsu 💪🏽🔥
ОтветитьYou mean you tried Brazilian Jui jitsu "Grappling" Jui jitsu is much more.
ОтветитьMy partner has been doing Jiu jitsu for 14 years and has always wanted me to get into the sport. As a tiny Asian potato, I've always been reluctant. But tomorrow, I'm heading to my first class to try it out. Had to find this video again to get my inspiration through you ❤️
ОтветитьHelpful and encouraging video. I went to a class last evening. First time in 50 years. You are stronger, more fit and quicker than I am. I joined in right away even though my intent had been just to watch. So glad I did. I did the exercises and some specific types of rolls. Everyone was helpful and often let me do my pitiful attempts at countering and escaping. Glad I got started again. Hope my body agrees.
ОтветитьGive that girl a stripe! Well, and a gi.
Ответить⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьHmm here first day issues maybe could be resolved by learning women empowered or Gracie combatives at Gracie University online
Ответить"I found that these moves didn't work at all when someone's resisting you and doing everything in their power to stop you." Bingo. Timing and sensitivity is a big part of the execution, and can take years to refine. Well said.
Ответитьdefense, ie guard, is a lot easier if you point a gun to their head. Not a literal gun mind you, a metaphorical gun. In the form of threatening the legs. Dont ever let anyone tell you you arent allowed to heel hook yet because you are a white belt. I didnt even see a single belt in this whole video!
ОтветитьSee your feet is a glory for eyes ❤ and like average Asian lady it never disappoint. Love it
ОтветитьWell done getting a sub 25 days in 👏 My first legitimate sub must have been after like 3 months of training...
ОтветитьThis Gym and community looks so sick. would love to roll there. Good work on the training.
ОтветитьI've been boxing for several months and I love it but I'm 33 with children and I don't want to spar. I have the urge to spar but I can't realistically get punched in the face every Thursday night and my husband is uncomfortable with that. My son does BJJ and I'm thinking about trying it. Risks considered, I would feel comfortable rolling and my husband is cool with it. Worth the transition?
ОтветитьI’m a blue belt that’s been training for almost 3 years. You did great. Hope you stuck with it because you are much better than a lot of people after 30 days.
ОтветитьIm 14 and I've been doing BJJ for 3 years, I'm a grey belt with 3 stripes, its so fun watching people learn my sport😂
ОтветитьHope y’all enjoy this one. Hit that notification bell for when I post a bunch of music next week🔔
