I think aircrafts carriers are waste, not only ones the USA has, but every carrier is waste. They are very slow and big, can be easily penetrated by supersonic missiles. It's better to develop submarines with are more stealthier and deadly compared to aircraft carriers. A submarine can carry power to destroy continents, like the Russian belgorod

If we don’t have anything that can take out Russia’s and China’s nukes then what’s the point? In a purely conventional war NATO could have destroyed Russia’s forces in Ukraine and driven them out in a matter of weeks or even days. But we didn’t because we were afraid of Russia’s nukes. So if we can’t neutralize their nukes then what good is all this other stuff?
