I admit I don't have all the answers, yet when someone says to me that God allows sickness and the reason why someone is suffering is that God is glorifying them...
Then they have the audacity come arrogance to say `oh back it up with the scriptures` because they know I am practically new in Christ (just reborn)
I don't know if to laugh or cry, because in my heart this doctrine is not just a lie, but also says that Christ/God and The Holy Spirit are not love/life and creation.
Your right its blasphemous.
Thank you for this, what you said about many churches preaching an Abusive father mentality, helped me A LOT.
I was brought up by the church as a young child, my mam was a priest's daughter, but this was and still is the attitude and beliefs I was brought up with.

I knew Christ was showing me something specific to what I need to grow up into as well as let go of/die to. Thanks Again :)

I've just recently discovered Tom Scarrella, through this series with Curry Blake, whom I greatly appreciate and admire. I find Tom's preaching good, and the accounts of his healings amazing, but his constant calls for "C'mon now, Somebody, give me an Amen!" distract me. They seem to be a kind of nervous tick or mannerism, and they inhibit the people's spontaneous response to his message. I thank him for his work and dedication!

Actually God does “allow “sickness, otherwise there would be none. But the point is He has given man authority over it. No God isn’t in “cohutes” with the devil but God does use the weakness time to speak to people because their defenses tend to be down. Sin brings death but again God will use weakness as a time for “talking to you”. He is merciful.

I rebuke and bind YOU copy cat spirit and command you to GO!!! GIT!!!! from controlling so many preachers making it hard for intelligent people to listen to them. COME ON SOMEBODY X 100 per sermon. CAN I GET AN AMEN X 50 per sermon. So many do this it really has become nauseating. Please STOP.

Tom, thanks for this teaching. Can you explain how Christians teach that God allowed Job to be attacked and allowed sickness to teach him. I have Christian friends that say God is teaching them something, allowing them to learn something and make reference to Job.
