To call this a comparable to any modern Western design is disrespectful!
ОтветитьGreat Video!
I think it would be interesting to look at other asian domestic fighter developments like the Korean T/FA50 or Taiwanese F-CK 1
JF-17 resulted from refusal of US to sell more F16 to Pakistan due to its nuclear programme. JF-17 is meant to be a affordable multi role, new airframe. Best thing about it is the chinese weapons that come with it and ability to enhance it with time. US only supplied F16 to Pakistan as it needed Pakistan's support to expell Soviet Union from Afghanistan.
ОтветитьThis aircraft has lot of design flaws and most of them are grounded due to reliability issues. That's why less than 10 junk fighters were exported. It may be okay against Mig 21.
ОтветитьAnything comes out of china, it's stolen from some one. The shape of this piece of SHIT---A COPY OF F16
ОтветитьBC the airforces in countries look for a Fighter jet. Not a fan. How is the caption even relevant. If it's affordable, it doesn't necessarily mean it is competent.
ОтветитьExclusive asset for pilots who has no other choice except to commit suicide.
ОтветитьTarget practice.
ОтветитьLove your channel! Wondering if you’ll ever drop a video on the Buyan M class, and Karakurt class corvettes of Russian navy. These ships are very interesting to me because of their small size, but massive firepower on par with a lot of larger western vessels.
ОтветитьIn this case ík
ОтветитьThis plane gives any country a respectable multirole fighter capability at an affordable cost..
ОтветитьVery nice looking lower cost fighter, but the lack of pilot visibility towards the rear reduces it's effectiveness in air to air combat at close range. The JF-17 looks a lot like the old F-20 Tigershark which was never built, engines have very similar performance but the J-17 has a bigger diameter fuselage and carries more fuel (more range).
ОтветитьNo problem tejas will kill jf 17 and j 20 both.
ОтветитьBeing cost effective is how China is fighting the West everywhere!
Ответить🤣
A totally bankrupt nation, Pakistan, is building "affordable" aircraft says it all.
Bud, a New Zealand voice-over can never right a wrong.
It looks like a trans F16
ОтветитьDiverterless intake is pretty neat, it's fancy.
ОтветитьTaiwan reunification... or Falklands reunification? 🤭
ОтветитьWhen combined with PL15 and eventually the extended range PL15 with an additional booster stage, the JF17 will continue to improve significantly. Also JF17 with long range air to air missiles could be used as a weapon launch platform if integrated into a regional detection/tracking network.
ОтветитьAlways funny to see a fighter still using a soviet jet engine. China's inability to build or even copy a high performing military jet engine always signals to me their weakness in quality manufacturing. That, combined with lack of information regarding reliability always makes me skeptical of the quality of Chinese military hardware.
ОтветитьRather ugly aircraft more like Chinese tofu dreg. It is imperative for an aircraft to be beautiful ie aerodynamic.
Ответить😂😂😂
ОтветитьBefore the JF-17 and F-16, the only capable fighter jets the PAF had were the J-6, F-86, Mirgae III and F-104. The f-104s were retired due to the lack of spare parts, the f-86s were retired in 1980 because of their old air frames, thus leaving the Mirage III as Pakistan’s only remaining capable fighter jet along with the J-6 until the J-6 was itself retired in 2002, so basically the PAF had the Mirage III, new Mirage Vs (attack aircraft), J-7, and the B-57 which were retired in 1985. So it basically made sense for the PAF to purchase the F-16 and to start producing the JF-17 just to make up for the aircraft it retired like the old Sabres, Starfighters ans Canberra bombers and for any F-16 it couldn’t purchase. Right?
ОтветитьPakistan is also developing a new AESA and BVR missile series.
ОтветитьPoor man's F-16.
ОтветитьFun facts about JF17 -
1) Dubai 2021, LIMA 2019, Bahrain 2016. Each time the Tejas participated in an air show, the Pakistani team cancelled their JF17 participation, ceded participation fee and ran away
2) The Chinese do not use it and only export to poor countries
3) The all metal airframe has poor manufacturing quality resulting in an availability of approx 40% for Pakistan Air Force
4) Even after buying 150 of jf17 the PAF still relies mainly on the American f16 and has also started buying Chinese J10 fighter aircrafts
5) JF17 Block 1 and 2 do not have AESA radar, no in flight refueling, only two dimensional fly by wire, all metal body causing high weight, low thurst weight ratio, older electronics and only Chinese weapons to fire
6) The newer block 3 jf17 variant has a cheaper air cooled AESA radar unable to operate at max power and hence lower range. Further, block 3 retains the same Russian rd93 based engines, uses cheaper air cooled AESA radar and same metal body and build quality
China has the technology to detect stealth fighter jets radar and hypersonic missiles, and the United States has neither.
ОтветитьThe F-16's maximum flight speed is not much different from most second-generation fighter jets, about M2; but its maximum flight speed is high, up to 1480 km/h. Due to the high thrust-to-weight ratio and low wing loading of the F-16 aircraft, its maneuverability is quite good. The horizontal acceleration performance of the F-16 before M1.5 is quite good. At an altitude of 6,000 meters, it takes only 19 seconds to accelerate from Mach 0.9 to Mach 1.2, and 48 seconds to accelerate to Mach 1.5. The F-16 has a large available lift coefficient, high thrust-to-weight ratio, and low wing load, so the instantaneous hovering angular velocity is relatively high. When flying at ultra-low altitude and low speed, its instantaneous circling angular velocity can reach 25.5 degrees per second. The stable circling performance is also good. When the flight speed is M0.7, its circling radius is only 650 meters. When the flying altitude exceeds 11,000 meters, especially when flying at supersonic speed, its hovering performance declines more obviously.
ОтветитьI'm guessing this aircraft is "affordable" only if it's not flown much, and the airframe isn't stressed often if at all in training if the estimated life is only low to mid thousands of hours.
Probably its initial version was uncompetitive even to Pakistan's aging F-16 fleet but with versions of China's latest electronics which Pakistan has no access, it's likely at least competitive particularly when compared to potential adversaries which generally meant India's few Soviet era aircraft. I would guess though that this plane is no match for India's latest purchase of 5 Rafale which could eventually become 15 and maybe eventually 45. It's unknown whether India's very few Rafale might be a valid force, some might be deployed to its aircraft carriers, any deployed to the Pakistan-Indian border would be vastly outnumbered and Indian pilot training doesn't have the high reputation of France or other NATO countries.
Thanks a lot for great information
ОтветитьJF 17 is so successful that pakistan, its sole operator is buying j10 instead of this..😂😂
ОтветитьThe Most junk fighter of the world with low availability rate
ОтветитьI hope you can get around doing a video on the KAI T-50 Golden Eagle, while it was designed as an advanced trainer, it has become capable enough to serve as frontline fighters for many nations posed with the same financial problems as Pakistan. Cheap and highly advanced, if Pakistan never got around the JF-17, the T-50 wouldve been perfect for them considering how integrated the F-16s are on the PAF.
ОтветитьSo says Chinese media. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIt's is extra ordinary things that .
Countries like Pakistan who identify by West as Third world country, successfully manufactured, operate and export such fighter get, even though there assistant provided by China👍👍👍👍
It's being heard recently that
Pakistan has now got
F 16 , JF 17 block 3, J10 c 5th generation fighter and they are going for J-31 .
That's insane man that's a lethal and dangerous air force damn!!
Totally junk fighter,, hinges in canopy,,but as your speech, this J F 17 best more then f35 & f22 cheers to you & pakistan,,,for your kind information, china not use this fighter jet,,,
ОтветитьIts a flying garbage can
ОтветитьJF-17 serves it purpose for Pakistan. Pakistan cannot afford to procure expensive fancy western aircraft is with expensive maintenance. That will eat up most of Pakistan's defense budget
ОтветитьExcellent Fantastic v Log ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьjf-17 block 3 is not just state of the art for its price , but its manuverability is also insane + speed
Pakistan to some dark sources have more then 1600 of these under some mountains hiding for a doomsday ready defense system
It has extreamly guud air-2-air missiles that can travel 200kilo meters
Iraq just ordered a batch remarking closer cooperation with Pakistan and china
ОтветитьMashalla very nice an amazing fighter get PAF ZINDABAD .❤
Ответить4.5 generation fighter jets jf17
Is most dangerous.
Its not the fighter jet but the missiles. Even a man with a Bazooka riding a bicycle can rain havoc .
ОтветитьThemain reason to turn away from America was having paid millions $ for F 16s,the Yanks betrayed and refused delivery, instead offered ground nuts and wheat.
ОтветитьThe Pakistan I know doesn’t even produce shovels let alone planes
ОтветитьLong live China and Pakistan. Greetings and peace from Sri Lanka to both nation.
ОтветитьI love this class of fighter. You don’t always need the most expensive and cutting edge hardware.
Sometimes all you need is something reliable and cheap to get the job done.
