I wonder is it possible to give up some of the cab in order to fit a longer car on the bed. By that I mean maybe the cab stops after where the microwave is. Personally I couldn't see sleeping in the cab that much. Sure it would be nice and if you have grand kids and whatnot I can certainly see why that would be a huge benefit. Me personally just having a microwave and frig in the cab with me would be more than enough to make me comfortable. Maybe some of you that have these set ups could tell me I'm wrong and you sleep in the cab all the time but I would think if you're hauling an rv behind you that you'd sleep in that. Maybe there are circumstances I'm not aware of.

Is that something that is even possible/advisable? Cut down the cab length thus giving that length to the bed and being able to put a mid or full sedan or something up there. Like you said the smart cars are going away.

Anyway. Love the videos. I'm learning a lot.

Gregg, do you ever do conversions of a semi without a sleeper? It would be appealing (to me) because the total length would be reduced and I don't believe I would ever use the sleeper/dinette?

I have a question concerning my rig only weights in at 15000 lbs with a pin weight of 2900-3000 lbs would a rig like Rudy work well towing this setup I was looking at putting a Ford Edge on the back.

I am considering getting a HDT similar to this. I would like to put a small 2022 Bronco on the back. I currently have a 36 foot Mobile Suite looking to upgrade the rv to a New Horizon toy hauler. What kind of investment is the truck?

This is a very nice setup of this type of unit. Great job! Volvo/Mack are some of the best modern units you can get these days in heavy trucks.

Can they be adapted for hand controls for people that have made it because of their substability I can walk that sometimes my feet do not quick be quick enough to go from break to accelerator so I am licensed to drive with hand controls

Hello Gregg i just got though watching your video and it was very informitive i'm a trucker from Alaska been driving big truck in alaska for 47 years i'm going to be retiring this next year and i'm coming to america to buy myself a fifth wheel toy hauler i already have a 1972 narrow nose w900a kenworth to pull my toy hauler with i just wanted to let u know i liked your video.

I agree a 24K trailer is pushing the capabilities of a 1 ton DRW, and there is no question an HDT is the absolute best when it comes to towing and stopping, but an MDT like an M2 106 or 112 seems more than sufficient for a 24K 5er, with a bit more maneuverability around the campsite. What are your thoughts?

Two axles means more surface area thus less pressure on the contact patches for a given weight(force). So single axle is better.

Greg, why not put a large enough tank somewhere on the truck so you can empty your tanks with a small pump which will pump from the trailer to the truck tank and then you drive your truck over to the dump site and dump your tank instead of breaking camp and hauling your trailer over to dump the tank . Also witht the world and climate change happening where do you see the rv industry going in the future .

Can you single out a Kenworth 8 bag air ride suspension? My truck (‘78 w900) has an aluminum frame. Is a single axle ok with this setup?

Hi Gregg. Do you only customize the 18 wheelers? Have you ever done a new Chevy 6500 truck? I have a 36' Montana to pull and i would like to put a 2 door jeep on the bed of the truck. I currently pull with a 2015 GMC duramax truck that rides nice and pulls great. 3500 4 door dually. I just want to take a jeep along.
