What a legendary algorithm pull. This is hilarious and pretty cool!
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьOMG Dying!🤣🤣 This is absolutely hilarious. Bravo! The "Bake Around" voice alone... I might just make it through Monday morning.
ОтветитьUm...I wanted to see you take a bite out of that beautiful round sandwich! 😂❤
ОтветитьYes please to more bread content! Selfishly, I’d love more advanced techniques and how to use different grains😅
ОтветитьOkay, well, now this is just officially weird. Full disclosure, I've had one of these for YEARS and probably used it twice. Why you say? cause I just did not have the patience. So little time and so many vessels for bread. The only question in my mind is whether I still have it, I think I do but I'll have to confirm that. And I am a kitchen gadget slut. There I said it. ( My latest acquisition is a 'sourdough home' which allows for consistent temperature for your starter. Jury still out.)
Found it!
UPDATE: now I'm not sure if this could be any more crazy-- bread is in the Pyrex proofing and I have the exact same toaster oven w/proof setting.
I have a solution for getting it in there also. Just carefully set the tube on its end on a dish towel, grab your dough by one end and lower it in until it hits the countertop or wherever you've got it, then reorient it to horizontal. Presto! It's not anywhere near too elastic. Then you can proceed to squish it with both fists.
Wait a minute. Who's that at the start of the video. No headband? Glasses? Down hair? Now I know how those babies feel in those videos where Dad shaves his beard, and they don't recognize him.
ОтветитьI'd love to see you compare some of the more unique material pans that often are in As Seen On TV, like those copper color cake pans, the silicone molds -- are they actually any different from more standard molds and pans? Specifically I've seen some little pie molds, and wonder if they are easier than making a hand-raised small pie, or the copper pans that say they crisp pizza or cook more evenly.
I also second the more bread focused content! I feel like I make a lot less sweet desserts in my day to day, but bread is so fun and useful for basically all meals. Just seeing you seal up the loaf gave me some tips on how I will make my next baguettes!
Big Top Cupcake!
ОтветитьThank you for the video. BUT I wanted to see you try to eat that sandwich, which was ridiculously thick and impossible to eat. What's the point other than as a visual aid?
ОтветитьThis is the most R-rated G-rated video! 😂
ОтветитьI needed this laugh so much! Thank you Erin for having the BEST sense of humor. The family who donated your tube bread machine will definitely be using the other one now!
ОтветитьYou're hilarious! I remember seeing all these ads on tv, and am loving this series! The sandwich is giving me original D'Bronx on 39th Street vibes. I miss those subs! And obviously yes, more bread please!
ОтветитьFor Real, I have been wanting to do things like this with all my vintage kitchen equipment. I love this. Loved the intro so much, all the glorious product b roll!!Great job! Bretton
ОтветитьMy parents had 2 of these when I was younger. Quite a conversation piece with my father and 5 brothers especially if you put in a little bit too much dough or didn’t center the dough properly. Made for many laughs growing up on the farm.
ОтветитьPlease do an episode on baguettes!
ОтветитьDefinitely on the bread videos!!! Do you do anything with Ancient Grains? That would be really helpful for those of us who are trying to eat healthier. Thank you!!
ОтветитьMore bread content please!!!!!!!
ОтветитьYes, more bread please! This was a very fun episode!
ОтветитьThis is a great video! You crack me up! More bread episodes please! I make your clover rolls all the time! Your Sub looks amazing!
ОтветитьThese episodes are so fun! Keep them coming!
ОтветитьYour “infomercial voice” is almost identical to Aidy Bryant’s on SNL, and I am absolutely here for it 😂
(I also love baking and using vintage Pyrex, so it is very cool to see how well the bake-a-round performs!)
I literally LOL'd when you dumped out the loaf. 😂 I've been baking for 35 years and I have NEVER made bread outside of a bread machine. Guess I need to try!
ОтветитьI have one of these! I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet...
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you. Yes to more bread making. You are so brilliant and so brilliantly funny!
ОтветитьYes to more bread tips and loaf styles! I don't know what you were talking about when you removed the bread from the pan, but I know what I was thinking!! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI think I actually had this thing. I don’t remember if I used it or not but I don’t have it anymore so, I guess that says something!
ОтветитьI would like to learn more about making breads
ОтветитьWhy aren't you making disc sandwhiches, is that not the point? Cut them crosswise and all your bologne, provolone, patty, tomato, onions, w/e fit on the bread "squarely"....
ОтветитьWhat fun! I am more of a bread baker than any other type, so I'd love more bread episodes!
ОтветитьSuch a good video! I would be happy to take the bread guts off your hands! I really want to try one of these pans now. Please keep the videos coming!🍞🥖
ОтветитьI would reserve this rare and wonderful pan specifically for cinnamon roll logs!
ОтветитьI was given a very old recipe for English muffin bread, an absolute favorite. The recipe calls for it to be baked in 1 pound metal coffee cans, so I make round bread all the time. Loved the video and gadget! Might have to find one!
ОтветитьMore bread episodes please 😊
ОтветитьShowing the proof box is my favorite part! You make bread making look easy, thank you.
ОтветитьThis reminds me of the garlic "crouton" bread for Burger King's grilled chicken Caesar sandwich that was my absolute favorite as a child. I currently do not have the space for another kitchen thing but I probably will circle back for this in the future 😂
ОтветитьPlease more classic bread recipes, especially hoagies and hard rolls. Thank you so much❤
ОтветитьThe first thing I noticed about this design is that you're going to be steaming the hell out of the crust when you bake it, and that's a good thing. Having the tube over it will keep so much moisture in that crust. Oh my goodness.
ОтветитьLove the look Erin. You slay
ОтветитьOMG I bought a couple of these on eBay 3 years ago and i never got round to using them, so am going to use them after watching this video.
ОтветитьMore bread episodes!!!! Peter Piper-🤣
ОтветитьHow do I disable the auto dubb?
ОтветитьAm I the only one who thinks that this episode should be...oh, I don't know...X-RATED?! LMAO!
ОтветитьDo...people want cylindrical loaves of bread?
Ответить😂you just made my day, I laughed so hard when you tipped out that bread. Thank you for all your wonderful and fun filled videos. Yes, yes, yes more bread baking videos please. Thank you again!!
ОтветитьMore bread please!!! (And OMG, the way it slid out! We were all thinking it...)
ОтветитьWhat a great episode—not only were the explanations easy to follow, the retro, quirky pan was so much fun! As a child of the 70s growing up in the Midwest, I wonder if the original directions called for a waxed paper, not a parchment paper, sling. I can’t remember ever hearing of anyone using parchment paper in that era. I can’t recall the exact commercial on television, but I do remember baking bread in a cleaned-out coffee can for 4-H projects. So the idea of a cylindrical loaf of bread showed up more places in that decade.
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьRegarding more cooking/baking tools: Matteo Lane and his friend Squidward Tentacles (i.e. Nick from Pennsylvania) have a series of episodes where they use as seen on TV items (e.g. turbocooker)
ОтветитьMy grandmother had one of these and it was the highlight of every meal when we visited. I picked one up at Goodwill a couple years ago and still haven't figured out how she made hers SO GOOD. (I'm realizing watching this video that I was letting my bread thaw in the tube and maybe that's why mine is coming out weird?)
