Greetings. I was stationed at US CINCPAC in the early 1990s as a Senior Operations Officer. One of my responsibilities was monitoring, coordinating, and reporting the progress of what was then called JTFFA: Joint Task Force Full Accountung. Who's mission was to fully account for missing and unaccounted for service members throughout the PACOM Area of responsibility. Most of the activity centered around Vietnam & Korea. The efforts made to find & identify our warriors was nothing less than spetacular under extremely challenging conditions. FInding, identifying & returning the remains of a service member to their family was deeply satisfying to all involved. I am so glad these efforts are continuing. Thank you so very much for dedicating yourselves to such a noble and challenging task.
