Speaking as someone who grew up in Oldham up to the age of 19 I can certainly say to Alex Batty that he's had a winning ticket in staying out of that festering mess of a place, back in England indeed.

I can't help feeling that he was wrongly removed from his mother in the first place and that she did the right thing by defying those who caused this harm in the first place.

He is making a big mistake being in UK

I'm only going to comment that he is very well treated and he didn't want is mother to worry about him, that tells you something....
We don't know the all story so we should never attack the mother, never. You wouldn't believe the stories that can be behind all of it... Trust me, I'm one of those mothers. And yes the inglês courts don't know what they are doing, in my case they did just want money to take my son away, no prove needed for nothing, just money and I dare anyone to take me to court over this words " English courts don't gather evidence just ££££ I'm ready after 18 years, more than ready, they destroy my life, they knew the truth, so was no reason for them to talk to me, they just took the money from dad and kidnapped my son back here, the same son, they refuse to give a English passport....I didn't give money hein 🤑😡 reason I never had no problem is because I wasn't guilty of taking my son away, they guilty to bring back... Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that when his grandma hugged him he sort of tried not to hug or touch her? I suspect that although he looks physically well he is probably emotionally damaged.

This is old news, it's since been admitted by the boy that this story wasn't true and that he made it up to avoid his mum being arrested.

With many young people in the USA who don’t care about their education especially in Democratically controlled jurisdictions where the focus is on indoctrination and equal outcomes rather than achievement, this kid is a role model being motivated to reunite with his grandmother and to get a better education!

All what I can see is a responsible man ready for life more than anyone in his age. His mother kept him healthy, and he noticed the time to return to his country. The story is weird.

Gosh, we live about 20 mins from Villefort, its a tiny village in an agricultural area, wonder if the residents realised who was living in their midst

This world will eat him alive and only then will he realise what his mother is protecting him from.

Why on earth would a parent deny their child an education???

I hope his mom is found, prosecuted, and jailed.
