Man, You WOULDN'T Believe The Things The UK Guys are Doing. You're Making Triangles and Sitting Them on Your Top Double Plates. The UK Guys are Making "L" Shapes (Make the Bottom of The "L" - Longer) AND Then, Sitting their "Edges" on a Single TOP Plate. Who's been Teaching Them?
ОтветитьLets goooooo, I'm first also 😂😂
ОтветитьThanks for the info bud! Good work
ОтветитьWhat schooling taught you all this? I wanna follow the same path

Can’t wait to see that Garage video!!
ОтветитьWow! A lot of information! Great work and video! Thanks for sharing! And keep them coming!👌👋
ОтветитьGreat job! Thanks for this
ОтветитьAnother great video Josh, the attention to detail is fantastic. The only question on this one: did you attach the joists or rim to the concrete blocks at all? I know it's just a shed, but I'd imagine it can shift with ground freezing/thawing over time, or heavy rain eroding the soil, etc.
ОтветитьGreat video, could you share what size nails you use for each of the various connections? I.e galvanized vs bright and what gauge and length for things like trim and the LP siding?
ОтветитьI've built three sheds over the years. My last one was an 8x8. I got a killer deal on 60lbs of 3 3/4 inch stainless steel screws and about 10 sheets of rough faced cedar siding from a lumber yard was was closing down. I built my trusses on a 4-10 pitch and the shed turned out great. I used Vulkem calking that I got from the lumber yard, so I bought two cases. I sold the rest of the cedar siding I didn't need to a friend for a dog house he built with the plywood. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Ответитьdeer blind?
ОтветитьGreat, now I need to build a shed. 😅 Great detailed video brotha. The shed turned out great! You're missing the garage video thumbnail at the end again. It's just you pointing at the air. Cheers 😂
ОтветитьIncredible work, as always. How did you learn so much about building? I’m a police officer in Florida and nearing retirement. I’m very handy and can do a lot of diy. I’d really like to get into building, I just don’t know where to start. Any suggestions? Would it be impossible to carve some time out and chat? Would certainly appreciate it!
ОтветитьThis time I will use WoodPrix instructions to make it. WoodPrix scripts includes most of woodworking plans you can find
ОтветитьGreat video and step by step. Great job.
ОтветитьIt's easy to see you build things for a living. Well-planned and informative. I like it. Thanks, brother. 👊🏼🔥
Subscribed so I can keep up with the awesome content.
That sheathing is going to rot at the bottom within 10 years guaranteed.. I wish they had something available made from PVC that could stand up to the sun - and moisture.
ОтветитьThanks for all these great videos.
ОтветитьJosh you are very detailed in all of your builds. I love watching and learning from you. Also I am impressed with all the cool projects you have completed over the year or so that I have been a fan.
ОтветитьWhat was the total cost for this shed? I'd like to compare it to the one I'm currently working on, a 12 x 12 with post buried in the ground. Thanks in advance. Great video by the way. 👍
ОтветитьDamn all that soffit work and roof work ! There are easy and cheaper ways. Its a nice shed but a lot of extra work.
ОтветитьI love this guy. So detailed. He even tells you the size and type of nails. I'm so grateful for his channel. Thank you Josh for all of your hard work.
ОтветитьAs a very experienced custom home builder, I also would have applied construction adhesive between the subfloor and the floor joists, which not only eliminates any squeaking, but bonds the whole structure together, which offers much more rigidity and strength.
ОтветитьBeard + Tool Belt = DIY Pro
ОтветитьReally excellent video, thank you for all of the details and tips.
