Fantastic video can really appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Living my dream 😢

An advice for a beginner getting into proper mountaineering?

Hey Richard! How nice it is to see you in my region, Piedmont. I was born and raised among those mountains and, of course, I climbed Monviso, which is the most iconic of all. If you'd like some suggestions about more hikes or where to go feel free to ask. In particular, check out peaks such as Argentera, Gelas and Marguareis. You will end up in beautiful places well far form the beaten path.

Great achievement and thanks for sharing! Your trips are always inspiring to watch!

I especially enjoyed your explanations of the more technical terrain from the point of view of a long distance hiker.

One small bit of criticism would be that in this particular series of videos I feel that your frequent complaining sometimes becomes repetitive and hard to justify (compare Type II vs Type III Fun). Sometimes we just need to give ourselves a few more days to enjoy the experience.
