In this episode, Noel and friends take the new Machado "Groove" surfboard for a spin in 1'-6' surf. Noel kicks things off by discussing Rob Machado’s unique style, technique, and how he approaches board design. He highlights that the Groove is the most performance-oriented board Machado has created to date. After diving into the board's attributes and what makes it stand out, Noel shares his fin choices and explains why he prefers them for different conditions.

Ian from Wooly TV takes the Groove through a variety of wave types and conditions in Western Australia. He was impressed by the board’s responsiveness, particularly due to its foiled-out tail, which made it easy to put on rail and surf tight in the pocket.

Eric, from North Florida, rides the Groove in smaller, mushy 1'-3' waves and is surprised by its speed and agility. He found the board performed best with a twin + trailer fin setup but also liked the quad setup for steeper waves.

Asa adds his thoughts on the Groove, commenting on how easy it is to surf and noting that it draws tighter lines in the pocket compared to the Machadocado.
