You think everything logically which is the doorway to longer survival. The most amazing part is you don't get depressed at all unlike neurotypicals.

I was married to a pschopath ans he did not get angry. These signs needs to have warnings that not one glove fits all....

My mother is a narcissist and I never thought anything about this until it was mentioned but she always stares at people's mouths instead of into their eyes when they talk. She always does this when she talks to me. My mother also dared me to hit her once and told me that she thought that things were leading up to me getting violent and hitting her. She laughed and smiled as she said this as she sat in her living room chair. I am 52 and have never hit anyone and don't even yell at people. When I talk I remain pretty calm. I found this very weird as well as scary. My mother is a very unhappy person who I have only seen smile a few times in the past three or more years in front of other people. She does this in front of them and her face instantly changes back when they leave or aren't looking at her. I have seen her change from looking hateful to extremely nice and happy looking instantly and then back to hateful. It was so weird to see.

I knew like 4 psychopaths in my life. And they were all different, some of them were really good “chameleons” they knew how to fit in any situation and could change their whole personality in a second. All of them had risky behavior, alcohol coma in 13 years old, scars on the face, abnormal promiscuity. They did some extremely scary things just for fun the consequences of it don’t matter at all. Also once there was a woman and I couldn’t even stand next to her I didn’t know at that moment why, but my adrenaline level was so high I biologically felt anxious next to her. Only after I realized that woman is a psychopath and she deceived people for her own gain all the time she literally tried to ruin my business even though I am not her competitor. Also I felt 100% normal around some of psychopaths so as I said it is always different. I guess you feel that in your back when someone has really bad intentions so if that psychopath does not care about you, you will not feel anxious around them.

I thought of this several years ago and never told anyone! There should be an ongoing study on psychopaths, but on the incessant reading of fiction to avoid human interaction, as well as using their incessant reading to learn empathy, but more or less, fake it. That would be fascinating!! I don't know if it's ever happened though, but that would fascinating to see! And my question if this was real would be, "do these psychopaths only read to avoid human interaction, or is it also to feed their fantasies?" Now, I know that the specific psychopath reading fiction or non-fiction would depend on the person! But the ones that read fiction would be more interesting to me, because why are they reading fiction? To feed fantasies? To avoid interacting with others? To feel normal like others? To feel like they have friends? (Same as the normal one) to convince themselves there's nothing wrong? Or, do they read to avoid their urges? Man, I would love for this to be a real study!! :D
