Hi Ellen I made these love how they came out. However one of them seems to have not hardened and it seems like it’s all the glycerine. What did I do wrong? I followed your video to the T 😮
ОтветитьHow would this be in beards?
Ответить@ellenruthsoap Would you please share what shampoo and conditioner, and styling products you were using for this video? Your hair is stunning in this video - specifically, just so shiny, and neither oily nor weighed down. 😍
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьCan you use panthenol out of the capsules?
ОтветитьI'm new to making soap, so new I haven't made any yet, but this is the most exciting thing I've ever seen. I have watched tons of videos (this stuff is so interesting I can't stop) after three days I think I have a pretty good understanding of how it works can't wait to try it out. Anyway, what I would like to know is in your recipe can I substitute cocoa butter for Shea butter?
Thank you for making this video I didn't know about hair conditioning bars
Thank you so much for sharing! What a skilled soap artist you are! What double boiler do you use? Also, is there a certain temperature your soap mixture has to reach? Or as soon as it's melted you know it's ready? I want to try this out but am scared I will ruin the batch by boiling it for too long. I appreciate any help you can offer me and will definitely be a long-term watcher!
ОтветитьSounds like a wonderful product. I am going to be brave and try it. Thanks for all you do and share.
ОтветитьI can’t wait to try this recipe. May I substitute the powder form of Vit B5 for a liquid form? If so, how much should I add? Thank you!
ОтветитьVery interesting to watch. The only thing I dont like about those round ones is that they are so slippery when they're wet that they're hard to hang on to and i keep dropping the bar in the shower and hard to keep ahold of. But I've used the conditioner bars my sister makes and they do work good and help after using the shampoo bar. As when i use the shampoo var it makes my hair feel like dull and weird, so i need the conditioner bars to make my hair softer and more manageable. I want to get some again one of these days. Thanks for the good video. 😊
ОтветитьUgh I have to wait for one Ingredient it was out of stock when I tried to order the first time, but now wont be here til Monday, the B5 so looks like shampoo all weekend lol.
ОтветитьEllen, I ordered BTMS 25 from Natures Garden. When I received my order it was BTMS 25 & Cetearyl Alcohol. Can I use this in my conditioner bars?
Ответить@ ellen ruth do u know if this conditioner bar is safe for color treated hair?
ОтветитьYou have beautiful skin
ОтветитьIs there a step by step written recipe with ingredients? Did I miss it?
ОтветитьJust made with natures gardens pineapple coconut water fragrance. So yummy smelling and excited to use. Have an outdoor shower next to the salt water pool, made these to use after swimming to help condition my hair after soaking in the salt water 🤩
ОтветитьThanks for the recipe and for showing how it behaves in water. I've made some bars and they are so hard with no glide at all.
If i use the liquid pathenol, when do I add this? I don't have the powder type. Thank, Ellen!
Hi Ellen Ruth Soap, I am a retired guy who got started making cold process soap last year, I heard about condition bars, check out several sites, but yours is the best, I brought the ingredients and going to make my first batch today. Thank you again so much and love your work. Daniel D
ОтветитьI'm loving these. Then I went to follow you on Facebook and realized you're in my town! I lived there for years and am now in Centerville.
ОтветитьU are such a beautiful soul!!! I am so confused lol I am a hands on learner but I'm sure if I watch this a million times I might understand 😂😂. I only need to make these beauty products for just me and I'm wondering what quantitquantities of additives to buy. I have all the butters but its the science stuff that im SO UNSURE of. Ugh 🙏
ОтветитьHI! I was wondering why a preservative was needed if water was not included in the ingredients? Thank you so much!
ОтветитьSo I made these conditioner bars. And I like that them for the leaving. But I feel like you have to work it into your hair and excessive amount. Is there anyway to add more yield to these bars? I’m not sure if that makes any sense. But I don’t get enough on my hands with warm water. I almost feel like, there needs to be less emulsifying wax. And I feel like I need to the butters/oils in this a little bit.
ОтветитьWhat category do you use on the IFRA since you can use these as leave on ? Would you use 5a? Thanks
ОтветитьI just came across your site today. Love it. I’m going to look for your shampoo bars as well. Do you have or are you maybe working on something that stops hair fallout and starts growth?
ОтветитьI have both btms 25 and 50. My question is, can i try the btms 50 this go around INSTEAD of the btms 25 for more conditioning? I heard you say you could. What would thenratio be then?
ОтветитьHi, thank you for the recipe. What is stearic acid for? Can I skip it if I don’t have one?
ОтветитьThose look awesome thank you for sharing❤
ОтветитьGood morning! I followed the recipe to a Tee, I pre measured everything a reweighed it as I added it. I only got 15 bars and I keep getting big pockets of glycerin! I’ve remelted and re poured the ones with glycerin pockets and as they cooled they are forming again! Please help!! I sooo want these to work!!
ОтветитьWhat temperature is the cool in order to add the panthenol mix?
ОтветитьIs it possible to create a lathering conditioner bar?
ОтветитьWhat is E-wax exactly
ОтветитьCan I do 2 in 1
ОтветитьThank you for your recipes! 🙏😍 can I use vitamin b5 liquid instead of powder ?
ОтветитьI just washed my hair and had to tell you, I am still loving this conditioner bar. I have been making it for about a year now. I also make Aloe Shampoo Bar from Bramble Berry, formulated for hair, no lye. Using your conditioner bar with the Aloe Shampoo Bar works great on my thick, curly, colored hair. The shampoo bar lathers so well and takes very little effort to get a great lather. Your conditioner bar and the shampoo bar I make last forever. Thanks so much for this recipe.❤❤❤
ОтветитьEllen HI! Love all your receipts..thanks for sharing..i got a question about your conditioning bar..would it need to cured?
ОтветитьThank you so much! God continue blessing you and your family
ОтветитьThanks for sharing loved this.Made it an my hair feels so soft 💌
ОтветитьI can’t wait to make these. Thank you for sharing your recipe 💗
ОтветитьI am relatively new to soap making, and find the whole process fascinating. I am also very please with the atmosphere of the soaping community as a group. the willingness of you, and so many other soap makers to share your skills, and to give credit to others is heartwarming.
ОтветитьEllen:::::::::::::::: I see you love those Dollar Tree spatulas like I do!! Best bang for the buck on those!!!
Ответитьhow would this recipe change if I use btms50 instead of 25?
ОтветитьHey Ellen your videos and teachings are amazing 👏 🤩 as a new soaper...you do not have one visible wrinkl on your pretty face I'm amazed on your beautiful complexion..stupid question but do you use your own products?
ОтветитьIs this conditioner good for beard?
ОтветитьI made this recipe last night, and I had to substitute the Avocado Oil with Grspe Seed Oil, but it did not work well for me, I was super careful with weighing out thd ingredients and doing everything in order, but the finished product feels oily, and the bars have moisture on the top, and "sticky" on the bottom. What did I do wrong? Thank you
ОтветитьGenius packaging!!
ОтветитьIm so loving all of this ❤
One day, im going to have my own workshop, tfs your skills and knowledge, its much appreciated ☺️
Instead of mango, I you use double the shea or cocoa butter?
ОтветитьEllen, I love your videos and recipes, I would really love it if you gave your recipes in percentages rather than grams so I could make them in smaller amounts without having to try to convert. Thank you for all your work
