The one scene in the container where he’s flipping upside down it’s explained that he’s basically morally doing a 180 which would be true if the bo2 ending where he gives up the service is cannon so why is he morally going against himself ? I'm kind of concerned about Raul Menendez's voice in the game because his voice actor, Kamar de los Reyes sadly died in 2023 and I am afraid that they may choose to use AI deepfakes to replicate his voice which seems a bit unethical to do without his consent but I dunno perhaps, they hired someone who can do a really good impression of his voice or maybe his voice lines were recorded before his death although the last option seems unlikely as that would imply that Black Ops 7 had completed massive parts of its development as early as December 2023.

The recent campaigns (Cold War and bo6) have felt half assed imo. Like they’re good but still when I finish the story it feels empty. I hope bo7 is different. I play cod for the campaigns at this point cause multiplayer is always the same lol

I agree that the cradle theory is the most likely, and here's why.
Actavision confirmed that Bo7 is a sequel to Bo2 AND Bo6. And the only way it can be a sequel to Bo6, is A: There are flashback missions like in Bo2, but take place right after Bo6 (Which, part of me thinks would be cool so we could see what happened after that game, but the other part of me thinks that would be bad as we would probly get some lazy three missions to sum up that story and kill off Case 😥) Or B: It is a sequel because in 2035 they are still dealing with cradle and the Pantheon.
BTW, Am I the only one who hopes we get another playable character alongside David?
