I found even better way to clean 1,000% cleaner with this very same cleaner on carpet that is just a tad longer thread type carpet and you follow instruction 100% like in this video. The part that adds + 1,000 times better cleaning is letting a 20 or 30 pound weight sit on the top of the front nose and what used to take 9 or more passes now only 1 pass to fully pick up urine stain from a large dog like a german sheppard.

How do you get the water to come into the bottom tank?

Do you need to do a rinse cycle ?

Do you have to use Bissel's cleaning formula? Also, can you add baking soda to the hot water/cleaning formula tank?

I guess my parents forgot to vacuume before using this, and it got a few hairballs in it. Now I’m trying to use it for other rooms and the thing will NOT STOP spitting out hairballs, left them all over the floor, vacuumed it up, went over it again. SAME THING. These machines are brutally unforgiving, any videos on how to fully clean them?

So if I'm cleaning upholstery the brush roll can't be deactivated and I'm supposed to set the machine on a surface that won't be harmed by the spinning brushes. Such as tile? What if there's no surface other than carpet or wood to set the machine on?
