Really enjoyed this issue. Although my one problem with this book is that it takes too many side adventures to the past rather than focussing on the present. I think Absolute batman and wonder woman have a better balance between the flashbacks and the present.

He reminds me of Dr. Weir from Event Horizon. Spooky as when I first saw that movie years ago, that performance by Sam Neil made me think he'd be ideal for Brainiac.

Man, this was a really dark horror take on Brainiac. I actually felt creeped out just looking at what he did to those Omega Men and his sadistic attitude and behaviour when he gets upset😳

Damn, Absolute Brainiac is giving me John Carpenter vibes

Also interesting take on the Computer Tyrants of Colu; we don't see that much of them in the mainstream universe

If brainiac is under ras control he must be crazyyyy… I could see him having his own agenda betraying him. Usually ras is against the detective so I could see that coming into play 10/10 hyped

I'm getting a Joker vibe from this Brainiac & I wondered if its intentional since Ra's is also a Batman villain, & Brainiac fills the Joker vibe for this Superman. I mean the design on him is quite telling

It's been a while since I've felt so on edge waiting for the next issue of something. I cannot get enough of this Absolute universe.
