Another con is lost exp if you're trying to unlock upgrades or paragons for your towers. While this won't apply to long-time players who already have everything (though may or may not have enough exp on their tacks for the upcoming paragon), it's still something to consider for newer players or more casual players who have yet to do the same.

Never underestimate the power of a BloonTuber when a new update gets released, especially with something that could be as potentially controversial as more stuff that can only be gained by in-app purchases and nothing else

If you save about 3 minutes per game by skipping to round 30, with fast track being available on the 75 maps times 12 applicable gamemodes, you save 3 minutes for 850 games, so 850 times 3, fast track will save you 2550 minutes, or 42.5 hours. So if you make at least $9 every 42.5 hours, or at least 22 cents an hour, then yes, fast track is worth buying.

If I need to put real world money into BTD 6, I am not buying it, I don't care if it will make life easier, I am not giving in.

I feel bad for giving in to the iap, but I am going for all black borders and I think that saving 100+hrs of my life is worth at least $9, so this was a very easy yes for me. I foresee this being a good investment now especially since, if btd5's stellar long-term support is anything to go by, we might only have like 60-70% of the maps right now in btd6 that the game will eventually have in the end, so the total time saved will only go up from here.

Personally, I'm just happy to have an excuse to throw money at NK. Double cash + fast track are permanent upgrades, and I feel like they had no obligation to include either as a feature, so making it premium feels very reasonable to me.

Especially because the entire game is so accessible without spending anything on the iap store. There's no drm, full offline support, amazing handling of accounts/cloud saves/crossplatform/competitive, and I could go on forever. NK is just the paragon of what game companies should be like. And yes I'm sorry for the pun.

That's crazy they don't just make it cost Monkey Money like in BTD5. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Steam Version since that also let's you buy double cash for Monkey Money.

I had $14 saved on my Google Play account because of Google Opinion Rewards, so it was pretty much just free for me. It's not going to change too much, but it'll save some time for the few maps I have left to black border, and it might make Half Cash easier by letting you get an early game carry immediately (if you even get enough by round 20).

Edit: You can also just straight up start a game with Churchill, which means you can get him earlier than if you used other towers to save up. This means he is still ass on CHIMPS, but he'll give an easier early-game on other gamemodes.

I see Fast track as a really cool addition and it can definitely save you good time if you plan on using it, but at 9 dollars and around twice as expensive as double cash (From what i saw), i think ill have to wait for a sale or a price decrease because as a regular person i dont wanna throw away good money like that for a brief time save in the short run

How much xp would you get in hour from playing impoppable with fast track? Would that give more or less than playing without fast track since you can play more games but less rounds.

It’s kinda like shark cards in gta online in that you get things like cars and weapons easier than other players get them therefore also kinda getting an advantage over them in gameplay. The difference in btd6 though is that there isnt really a direct gameplay aspect where this advantage can affect the people that dont have it. Only thing i can think off that this change can do is undermind the time that "legit" players have put into getting achivements and blackborders in the game.

For me the fast track is kinda in a grayzone together with dublemoney and instamonkey packs.

i tested in challenge editor with the starting cash on round 10 for easy mode. i started with churchill on dark castle map and it was super easy. buffed churchill takes down r40 moab piece of cake

To all those saying it is stupid it doesn't cost monkey money. NK is amazing at making everything accesible for free. Imagine you had to pay to unlock some monkey, change your name, or get more avatar items like most games do. They need some way to make money and this is very cheap.
