I was vacationing in Panama city FL with love one's i would go out to the sandbars and collect sand dollars for my grandmother i decided to get off the second one all of sudden got this really scary feeling got out of there the same day a local John Martin was killed by a bull shark and a couple from ga was attacked this was in 1988 September

There was an abalone diver in the 2000's who was killed as soon as he dove down by a massive white shark. I saw it on Shark Attack Files on Nat Geo Wild, years ago. I think it was in NorCal.

I don't swim in the ocean for the same reason I don't go into a Lions den!!

I feel bad for the young surfer that was killed but you can't blame the shark for what comes naturally to them to be blunt this is an apex predator which should be respected above all and never feared they are an important part of the ecosystem and help to keep are oceans clean. Also I do agree with some some of the other comments that in that it mention he had a sixth sense when he went back out the second time he felt he was being stalked which doesn't make any sense if he was alone when he was attacked. Also no disrespect against the surfer but shark experts have warned for years to avoid going into the water during stormy or turbulent seas or at dawn or dusk.

The shark in the movie jaws was supposed to be a 25 footer which was assumed to be slightly larger than they're supposed to get. However, i think if you were to find the largest ones over the last 5-10 thousand years, you'd likely find some who have indeed hit that 25 foot mark and perhaps even exceeded it slightly.

You should do a video of the attack on Jack Rochette that took place in 1964. The shark from that attack is reported to be even larger than the one that killed Lewis Boren.

Just a quick question I always watch these types of videos and they are so sad but the narraters always say stuff like they felt immense pressure on there back and chest then they were gone if the people are dead straight away or never found how can they say half of the stuff that they do is there speculation not insensitive to the peolkes family's saying stuff that probably didn't happen cause at times half of the stuff they say it makes it sound like they suffered first

Great shark channel! I have been interested in sharks all my life and have many shark attack books since a kid. I have heard about this sad Great white shark attack before on Lewis Boren by a massive Shark that hit him from below. I think a massive Great White Killed Jevan Wright a 17-year-old boy back in year 2000 probably also in Australia. In Jevan's shark attack a Person on a rocky cliff saw Jevan coming in on board on his stomach, then witness on rocky cliff turned away for 10 seconds or so and looked back and all he saw was a broken surfboard but no Jevan Wright. I figure a big Great white took him from below like Lewis Boren! Both cases are sad. I also think if Great whites miss on seal too much, they go for easier meals like surfers or ocean swimmers. I believe in the buddy system. Always go with a friend when swimming, surfing and scuba diving so they can help you in time of trouble! Thanks for the upload.
