I just love that when one of you is talking to the camera, the other one will always be watching her. Thanks for sharing and have a fantastic life!
ОтветитьThat’s actually quite awesome from my perspective. Let me explain, I am an Israeli and I also have a German citizenship and Israel is actually much more expensive in a lot of the cities while wages are actually the same more or less.I think that for a single person, Germany is much cheaper than Israel. And that is after the increase in inflation. Anyway, it seems like Germany is a livable country
ОтветитьI’m planning come to germany next year for my studies. And your video have lots of infos that i was searching for so really thank you so much and wish you channel grows a lot more and it starts with me as a new sub 😊

Hi, I would really appreciate it if you make a specific video about how to buy affordable goog quality furniture. I am a software engineer struggling to find value for money standing desks and ergonmic chairs. Would be beautiful if you could show us your setup as well :)
ОтветитьMoving to DE next year. This is a super helpful video! Just subscribed and looking forward to all the content!
ОтветитьI’m living in Canada, it’s way more expensive here.
ОтветитьWe’re paying $250CAD for electricity, $200 for gas and $283 for water. Per month…
ОтветитьFor my 1K internet in Canada I’m paying $252 (CAD) per month
ОтветитьWould you mind telling me, how much is average Tattoo's cost in Germany?
ОтветитьPrices is US have gone up roughly by 40% between 2019 and 2023 in Boston.
ОтветитьBad enough that the rents are so high, but before you even move in into a flat, you have to pay an arm and a leg to install a KITCHEN and curtains, not to mention furniture. And when you move out you HAVE TO TAKE ALL THAT OUT. Beyond insane.
I have never in my life, anywhere in the world seen such stupidity. Is everybody there retarded? Have they heard of furnished or semi furnished flats? They are obviously too stupid to understand the concept. Worse still, there are so many other countries to learn from and they don't. What is stopping them? Stupidity!!!
Not to mention that Germany always needs a lot of labour. No wonder, considering they are constantly busy installing and dismentling kitchens. Multiply that by millions of flats in Germany and you get the picture.
Beyond shocking level of stupidity.
Love you both, helped me tremendously last year when I was moving, hoping I get to visit soon! All the best!
ОтветитьCan you go into more details about the various types of insurance?
Ответитьdo you have a video about buying furniture for the first time in Germany if your moving to that Country?
ОтветитьLadies, please do make the charts bigger for better visibility on mobile 🙏🏻
Ответитьmy bestie pays 300 Euro room, kitchen and bathroom in Frankfurt,
He is not even sharing it with anyone
Hello Jen / Yvonne for super informative videos. I am working on a job offer in Cologne (Germany), and I have struggled to find much info specifically for Cologne? Any suggestions, especially on housing (because I need to look for a 3 bedroom).
ОтветитьThe most realist, transparent and honest feedback out there. Thank you for the great work you do ladies.
ОтветитьThat little sound that you added on every increase in cost felt like my blood pressure going up....
Ответитьeven in the US, back in the 90's i always thought if you were making over 75k USD gross per year you're well off...but now in 2023 100k is considered middle class.
Ответить€1,2 for a studio flat (living room and bedroom all in one) in Berlin. Hurts so much.
Ответить1600 warm rent , 1000 food , 400 restaurants., 300 benzine, kindergarten and after-school 200. Family of four , netto 4200. 😢
ОтветитьNot sure if i missed something but what about heating costs?
ОтветитьYou need to show Euro (EUR) to US Dollar (USD)
Ответитьeverything is so much cheaper than it is in america except the haircuts lol but with all the extra money you save im sure thats next to nothing
ОтветитьThe woman with black hair looking at the other one while she talks, is very distracting and cringe.. great videos though 🎉
ОтветитьThat’s so helpful thanks!
ОтветитьIs it true that many of apartments are completely empty and you have to buy things such as sink, etc
ОтветитьSo I'm paying more for a 3 bedroom apt in a blah city in California than a flat in fabulous Munich. Based on your numbers Deutschland is cheaper than where I live, and the healthcare is a better deal. If my parents could see the future before they left germany...Water over the dam.
ОтветитьI live alone in Berlin. 2 rooms (1 room + 1 living room) apartment 10Km from the Berlin's center. 950 Euro month rent and 82 Euro for Electricity... It is really expensive...
ОтветитьGreat video ladies. Super informative. Thank you for such a great break down of things.
Ответить1mb of internet?
ОтветитьI'm amazed at this expense!.......there is no way I could afford these prices. The standard of living is so much higher than here in the midwest USA.
ОтветитьVery Informative and entertaining. Good to have a perspective to compare and appreciate the diff - good or bad.
ОтветитьJust a reminder to everyone, life doesn't usually sum up to basics, specially if you get somewhat more than that as a couple. Me and wife live up to about the standards showed in video and in Berlin we easily spend around 1k above than the girls in the video. Clothes, food, take out, restaurants, gifts, etc etc it is very very easy to spend more monthly.
ОтветитьThe default price for a monthly ticket is 91 euro for zones AB (C not included). The 49 Euro is only a temporary price.
ОтветитьGreatly appreciate the content and links. Just curious, what is the most popular smart phone in Germany?
ОтветитьHow to find a apartment in Berlin before coming to study?
ОтветитьHealth care is most expensive.
ОтветитьIt's minimum... in real life you need multiplay on 1.4 as minimum...
Ответитьgood video, liked how you broke everything down and did brief explanations.
ОтветитьSuper!
ОтветитьCan you talk about people who want to move to Germany with kids? Students/workers etc
ОтветитьGreat video! Is 100K annually a good salary for a couple to live in Berlin?
ОтветитьI ll be moving to Köln next month. So what would be reasonable rent for a 1 bedroom apartment and where can I book the apartment. Please help
ОтветитьIn the USA we pay 350 plus for a single person house for electricity in the northeast
ОтветитьYou make very helpful videos. For persons like me who just came to Germany, you help a lot. ❤ thank you
Ответить3k expenses for a couple and just one burger in a month! Is it 50k year gross? What about clothes, devices, car payments, how it adds?
Ответить
