Hi Max, l like your video 🙂 I went to Cartier boutique and saw a few Santos de Cartier, honestly somehow they did not impress me that much until the sales consultant brought out the Santos Dumont, it looks great and I instantly like it. I like the history and its sleek design. The only aspect of this watch which is holding me back is that the price for a quartz is rather steep. Other than high autonomy quartz with long battery life, is there any other aspects that would make the quartz used in this watch “higher quality” compared to other quartz movements?

Santos Dumont was the inventor of the airplane. The history behind the conception of Cartier Santos is really awesome.

It's a known fact that Watchmaking will never be their Forte, therefore Cartier should stick to making Purses & Perfumes 😁

TANK is nice, but the Santos is rather ugly, too many screws all over it.

Don't you think that minimum wage should quadrupedal before anyone else making more gets a cent more, and that the wealthy should be taxed at the same rate as the poor?

Great video! If I can't get it in an auto, medium size, with the awesome bracelet I'd have to pass and stick with the other Santos.

For my first Cartier, it seems only right to buy a Tank model first, then a Santos Dumont.

too bad it does not come with a deployant clasp, other than that, I prefer the Dumont to the regular Santos!

small doesn't look comical at all. it's a perfect fit for your wrist. people in general have no sense of proportion when it comes to watches - massive amounts of insecurity. just look at your watch and your wrist. is it supposed to cover your entire wrist? stop thinking about other watches and what other people wear. thank god smaller watches are starting to come back

Brazil can pretty much accept that Dumont beat the wright brothers to the punch all they want. Truth tells another story.
The Santos is a nice watch, aesthetically, but Im more of a Tank man. But if I were to go after a Santos, the Dumont would be perfect because Im a dress watch guy.
