I just read the listing in the description and apparently you don’t Have to have an aux cable. You can use like an FM transmitter to where it can output audio on a radio station of your choosing, and on the radio in the truck you can go to that station and it will play all the audio from the Apple CarPlay.

You should upgrade the speakers for better sound.

It connects to the radio stations. Pick a random radio station that isn’t popular in your area and it’ll transmit your bt audio to that station. Your car’s antenna will pick it up and play it out your car speakers.

I vote to fix this thing up. Would make for great content.

If you really wanted to make it work on the speakers in the truck, there is always the old cassette tape adapter with the 3.5mm jack.

This guy is in self destruct mode. He doesn’t even give us a REAL dash mounted infotainment…just a stick on CarPlay that will work on any vehicle. This guy is just begging for views to make income. JFC

If you're planning on keeping the RS7 for a while you can pick up a replacement touchscreen & android module to run Apple CarPlay / Android auto. Have one installed on my A6 C7 and works perfectly. Can get them online from many places (likes of Ali Express etc).
