Big Blanket Review: 100 Square Foot Blanket?

I finally caved and got one and I love it for our bed. However, washing it is a pain. Even though I have a front load washer, it still takes multiple cycles to dry. I run it on very dry as opposed to low like the website says. I can't imagine how many cycles it would take if I did it on low.

Worse mistake I have ever made buying from the big blanket Company they shipped 3 extra blankets and shipped the wrong blankets and has ignored messages to their customer service number. And after 5 days calling dozens of times a day no one answers their customer service phone number or calls you back. I’m beginning to remember why I moved from Missouri.

I love this blanket. The material is soft, weighty, and actually surprisingly stretchy! Perfect for wrapping myself up on the couch while I watch TV or a movie.

My cats fur would make that blanket look like catzilla.

My first thought was washing and drying it, lol!!

I am not paying that much $$ for a blanket..sorry ...
I have a weighted blanket ..I bought it for $35 .. the store was going on out of business ...
I love it ... Can't put it in the washer though which is ok .. I use it over my comforter ..

That's a lot to spend on a blanket. I'd save money on two smaller ones, and they'd be easier to machine wash.

I have this blanket and I love it. My family and I did all the things you did in your video and they enjoyed it as well. As far as washing and drying, I went to a laundry mat and used the commercial machines and it turned out great. Finally I lucked up and only paid $99 for my blanket as a Christmas special on deals and steals(GMA)

I am still wondering about those washing machines! In comparison to the machines available in Europe, it looks so old-fashioned.... How many cicles/minute does it in spindrying? My automatic does 1600/minute and then the wash comes out almost dry!

Are they made right here in the U.S.A or China?

Something must be wrong with your washer. I just washed 2 of these blankets. Both spun just as well as any other load in our washer. No issues with being soaked like yours.

First thing I thought when I heard "10ftx10ft" was "How the hell are you going to wash this thing?! My normal 6x5 (guestimate) already almost fills the washing machine up!"

this was very helpful when it came to the washing. i wonder if a sticky roller would pick up the dog hair. i have a dehumidifier that i used to dry my clothes with but i dont have the quarters to spin this blanket until its finally not dripping water

Did you not have a issue with the giant seam. I feel it was stated blanket not blanket sewn together idk. I got a polka dot one and this seam is down the middle. They said the patterns are in the middle etc. and we’re not kind.
