Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family
Ответить"get a 5k car"... Those are bad cars
ОтветитьRolling your car loan into your mortgage is asking "Can I please finance my car over 30 years?"
ОтветитьSo he owes more than the car is worth. How does he sell it and take out a loan and only 5k in debt. I thought he’d be 5k in debt plus whatever the difference is from the car loan. Can someone explain?
ОтветитьI smile and glance at my three paid off cars!
Ответить$1200 is A LOT more common car payment now ,,,,, just for 1. 😅
ОтветитьDave should adopt the mantra---'I can fix stupid, but it'll hurt'
ОтветитьDude, first step is to stop the bleeding.
ОтветитьWatching this in 2024 is almost quaint
Ответитьadjusted for inflation thats about 1500 today, which is expensive even with these dummies today paying 1000 a month for cars
ОтветитьI realize he is trying to help, but does dave ramsey realize that a 5000 dollar car is going to require ALOT OF MAINTENANCE... I guess we should all just get 5000 dollar cars that never break or rust in the rust belt. And pray that they dont break Also while dealing with lifes challenges and soaring grocery costs..
And dont get me started on a 300 000 trailer on a tiny lot that they call a "house". Property costs are crazy because of property con artists like him. Sometimes HUMANS DONT NEED MORE MONEY DAVE.
Caller :”yeah I know”. No, you don’t know.
ОтветитьIts sounds like “Dave tell me something I wanna hear because the mess is already done and I don’t wanna drive a 5,000 dollar car”
ОтветитьIt's 1.9% because you paid $40,000 for a $33,000 car. $7,000 on $33,000 over 5 years (typical car loan) is 4.2%. So your real interest rate is over 6%.
ОтветитьMy wife wants a new/used car. Currently SAVING for it instead of financing.
ОтветитьI've never understood why people go into debt for an expensive car when a cheap car still gets you to the shops and back .
Ответить$1200 a month today is one, base F150.
ОтветитьRich is so poor.
ОтветитьDave makes matter of fact statements about "five thousand dollar cars" all the time. Does he understand that $5,000 cars often cost more to operate than $20k cars? The complete aversion to debt isn't always the best way, but I guess he's gotta sell his program somehow.
ОтветитьNo common sense so sad
ОтветитьSo......why do some people call? Your car payment is WHAT? Yeah bro.....thats too much. Sell the car...
ОтветитьSome people will never get life or the world. Let him file for bankruptcy.
ОтветитьI have never seen a vehicle worth $1200 a month?
ОтветитьI'm over 50 and my total car purchases over my lifetime don't add up to $40k.
ОтветитьJesus! This guy just doesn't get that the car's value is dropping like a stone. 1.9% interest? Pfft! Nothing compared to depreciation.
ОтветитьIf you can't afford to pay for it in cash, you can't afford it.
ОтветитьOr you can do what I do. My car payment is $1,200 a month. That's $14,400 yearly. How do I pay for it? I sell Cash Secured Puts and Covered Calls on high volatility stocks. I take those premiums and pay for the car. At the end of the year, I pay taxes on the $14,400 which is $1,344. So my total out of pocket for the car yearly is $1,344. The more you know, the easier life gets.
ОтветитьFell into this trap in my mid 20s. Got rid of the thing within a year. Had some negative equity..but i got a corolla and the loan was reduced to something manageable at a 1.9 rate. Thank goodness i did that. I would have lost sooooo much more if i held onto that vehicle. Stinks to lose some money but the learning experience was huge.
ОтветитьAnd it's these same ignorant people complaining about paying off their student loans.
ОтветитьHopefully this guy waited until 2021 to sell his cars. Probably ended up with a profit
ОтветитьVasectomy a grand is a good investment
ОтветитьSome of these people amaze me with their stupid purchases
ОтветитьHe's laughing, but there isn't anything to be frickin laughing bout stupid head to much cars
ОтветитьDave’s reaction is priceless…You owe FORTY! 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe fact they don't teach any of this starting in high school even should be a crime. Setting up young people for failure
ОтветитьGood luck trying to find 5k used car in 2022
Ответить...but that is a 1.9% interest rate...lol
ОтветитьHe ain’t selling no car . It’s so obvious. He feels a 110k earner would never be caught dead in a hooptie car .
ОтветитьI have a friend just like this. Paying $500 car note with a $280 car insurance payment. Says he can't return it because he got a "good deal" on it. Lives paycheck to paycheck.
ОтветитьThe way he said 1.9%, you know darn well he ain't doing it.
ОтветитьGood, nice job, guy !!!
ОтветитьLove how the ad for this video was local Ford dealership 🤣
Ответить"Rich" is poor!
Ответитьdo you idiots that take out these car loans have peanuts for brains , i take that back , a person with a peanut for a brain would not be that stupid .
ОтветитьThe guy wasn’t too impressed with Dave’s advice!
ОтветитьLook at my car payments, I can't afford to eat
ОтветитьCars are way overpriced
ОтветитьO what tangled webs we weave they say.
ОтветитьUuuuhhmm
ОтветитьCars that are too expensive are bad enough-then you find out they're all underwater due to negative equity.
Ответить
