Oooohhh, I've seen the larval stage many times and never knew what they were. Thanks.

Ah yes, that awkward preteen ladybug stage of life known as pupa-ty. 🐞 😊

The babies can be purchased. Then drop on your plants in aphid season. It takes the babies a while to grow wings so they stay on your plants eating all the aphids.

I don’t use pesticides in my garden. I had an aphid infestation in the beginning of the spring season. By some miracle I had an influx of lady bugs. Which by the way the red ones are men bugs. They saved my garden.

I’ve learned to let some of my dill grow big. The aphids love it, which keeps them off my other plants and then I always find tons of ladybug larvae cleaning them up!! It’s fascinating to watch :)

I recognized the ladybug at start and end, but not the other stages!
The praying mantis has always been interesting for me! I think also called a walking stick or something like that!
