Lindor breaking the no hitter of the Toronto Blue Jays up and Alvarez driving the final nail in their coffin to take 2 of 3 from them!
ОтветитьThis a very fun Mets team to watch. They root for each other and that OMG homerun picture taking creates team unity.
ОтветитьThe Mets this season are no doubt a very good team. They don't let other teams get away with mistakes. However, the upcoming series with the Phillies will be a gauntlet. The Phillies are a very good team and don't make many mistakes. So I hope the Mets do well in this series, but we will see.
Ответитьso many great new players with 1 year deals who i really hope stay next year. Iglesias, Martinez, Taylor, Bader, Torrens, Young, Winker
ОтветитьANOTHER Lin-Sanity Hits NYC!
ОтветитьThis year’s team may not have all of the pieces, but they have the most important one... heart ❤

ОтветитьLINDOR is HIM!! MVP type season crazy he wasn’t an all star this year smh
ОтветитьNever forget
ОтветитьBuenas noches Francisco lindor es un super peloterazo
Ответитьpretty cool they put this up.
ОтветитьMets have 10 games against the braves and Phils. They control their own destiny.
ОтветитьWhen the Rangers and Jets start stinkin I'll be watching this one on Mets classics!😅😅
ОтветитьYes!
ОтветитьBunning’s perfect game was Father’s Day 1964 at Shea. Get your facts straight.
ОтветитьI am typing on a phone, and because I don’t want to lose this painful effort, I will post in blurbs
I want to talk about NLMVP vote in 2024
Question: should 50/50 determine who wins MVP?
Answer: bleep no
Now, I can understand when Ohtani puts up batting stats which, by themselves, are MVP-worthy, and then puts up pitching numbers that represent a top ten performance, well there’s little doubt who should be MVP
He has done approximately that twice already
That was among the longest - and most crippled - sentences I’ve ever written.
So super hitter and pretty good pitcher combined into one player is extremely valuable
But huge HR guy and speedy base runner combined into one player?
So TF what?
What advantage is there to this combination?
If somebody else on the team steals 50 bases instead of Ohtarnicle, how is that less advantageous?
So we are aware of the bone erz Ohtani elicits in baseball fans.
And all the other acronym categories - SLG, xSLG, ySLG, zSLG, zetc. - in which he leads but, again, so TF what?
Would the dodgers still be in first place without him?
Probably
Would they still be playoff bound without him?
Absolutely
But where would the Mets be without Lindor?
With a better record than the White Sox?
I guess
With a better record than anyone else?
Possibly
Conclusion
Francisco Lindor is worthy of becoming - and should be - the first New York Mets NLMVP in their 62 year history
Unless the writers remain intoxicated upon Ohtani's personal methane
😂 he jinxed the shit out of him. The next pitch
ОтветитьIf Taylor’s hit was a home run, it would’ve absolutely shattered Cabrera. 😂
ОтветитьMets. Francisco Alverez Promised me a bat after the game on September 11th at the bleachers if there is anything you can do to help me out let me know.
ОтветитьThey were doing some of this stuff early in the season before the midseason collapse: late inning rallies. Let’s Go freakin’ METROPOLITANS
ОтветитьKeith was a magician calling that lol LGM
ОтветитьLinormous hit
ОтветитьYes jeff you got to believe in God!!!
ОтветитьWas in a meeting when I got a notification that the Blue Jays had a no-hitter going into the 9th. I was gonna try to avoid seeing the score and watch the game later, but I turned the game on for the 9th and holy cow was that a fun inning to watch. Love these Mets
ОтветитьThe silence from the Blue Jays fans after the homer is deafening.
ОтветитьLegendary half inning. The thing that gets missed a bit is Alvarez's HR. Dead center at 439ft !!!
ОтветитьLFGM
ОтветитьAfter that second strike on Lindor i was like yhea the No-Hitter is gonna happen and then "Bang" it's outta here game tied ,Flood gates open after, Mets win..🎉
ОтветитьThat Lindor guy seems pretty good.
ОтветитьAs a Mets fan, I will say this about Toronto: their logo is the best in MLB. Simple, classy. That red maple leaf adds a nice splash of color to the Blue Jay. I've always loved that one.
ОтветитьMets fans are used to seeing a game tying shot like that, another run tacked on and then losing in the 9th or 10th.
ОтветитьThis will haunt Francis, I imagine. 0-2 on Lindor and he made a huge mistake -- sent a 92 mph fastball right in heart of the plate. You know he was trying to hit just above the top of the zone ... but just left it in the hit zone. I kind of feel bad for the guy. But I more feel great for the Mets. It is one thing to get a mistake ... it is another thing to take advantage. And Francisco did just that. Amazing game.
ОтветитьThe greatest indictment of Alonso's season was that stat about batting with a runner at 3b and less than two outs. For a professional, major league hitter you should score that run more times than not. Pete was at 31% on the season. Something ain't right with the Polar Bear in '24 ... trying too hard? But it was a good sign to see him lay off of outside sliders -- which have killed him this year -- and to get the bat on ball to score the run. Maybe something to build on.
Ответить8 no hit innings with only 1 strikeout
ОтветитьHE'S GLOVE IS PURPLE SAY NO MORE AMAZING METS!!!!!!
ОтветитьGod! WONT HE DO IT?
ОтветитьLGM
ОтветитьWe are going to the play offs this year!! LGM
ОтветитьYea man, they need to resign these guys
Ответитьinstant classic that is!
