I love these books, I am planning to play a solo game of Final Fantasy 7 and this will be super usefull
ОтветитьReally enjoying this little side series! As a solo gamer and frequent GM for groups, this is all fantastic stuff. Some of it I'm familiar with, and some has quickly been added to my soon-to-buy list. Thanks for all you do!
ОтветитьExcellent as always, Trevor!
ОтветитьThanks for inspiring me to try solo rpg. Using this to get through the COV blues. ATM my character is stuck in a crystalline march with a female companion he can't tell if she wants to date him or eat him .... or both. Having a ball.
ОтветитьAnother very informative video Trevor, thank you. With so many great tools in your toolbox, are you concerned with not using any of them for season 2? Which one(s) are you going to miss the most?
ОтветитьGreat video!
Super cool see inside your "gaming setup"!!
Great video as always! I, too, love the Raging Swan stuff, especially the Urban Dressing book if for nothing else than the random naming tables and tavern menu tables. Just curious if you’ve ever used the Tome of Adventure Design from Frog God Games? I snagged a copy a while back and it has an absurd wealth of random tables to play with and get inspired by.
ОтветитьYou know how you're more likely to remember information you've written down? This is a note to myself to use your affiliate link the next time I buy on DTRPG!
ОтветитьFantastic!! Another great episode!!
ОтветитьFantastic video. I can't wait for season 2.
ОтветитьThanks Trevor. That is very useful. I have been looking at these, but there are so many, and not many reviews on them. It is good to see what is in them. Looking on DriveThruRPG, I just noticed the ones with the yellow cover are "System Neutral Editions". I guess they would be better to choose, if the option was there?
ОтветитьHi Trevor, great shout out for Raging Swan, they do really good stuff (and you've cost me more money, again - Lockdown is getting expensive . . . ) Fun though!
ОтветитьThese are fantastic books to have. I got these just before the video dropped! I'll be using them in my solo game & game I'm DMing! Again, thanks for the video sir! 👍
ОтветитьThanks for this behind the scenes series! After watching your campaign I wound up getting Mythic GM Emulator and Uwe to use with a solo D&D campaign I am working on. These other books look very useful as well.
ОтветитьI love supplements like these. Thanks for the tour!
Also, for those of you who are new to soloing, I highly recommend the Game Master's Apprentice Card decks. They are meant to be universal idea generators. I find having a deck of cards to draw from to be much quicker than flipping through books to find an appropriate table. That being said, they are more for a "on the fly" play style.
Awesome! Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьNow I think that Trevor needs to do an "Inquisitor's Leap" one-shot...and after he's done people take his cast, and the ship and go have solo adventures of their own and post em somewhere...Something fun for the quarantined Me, Myself & Die fanbase ;)
ОтветитьThanks you for taking the time to make these videos, love them! Name my latest d&d character Simon :)
ОтветитьThe dream podcast, if we could ever get Robert from Artichoke Dip, Geek Gamer, Trevor from Me, Myself and Die, and myself (Solo Rpg Guy) together to do a Q and A. That would be awesome. Don't think it will happen, but
I can dream, can't I?
As promised, I added your link in my "doobly-doo" in my latest vid. Just spreading the love. I am patiently (...err NOT!) waiting your Ironsworn Solo!
ОтветитьLove your stuff! Thanks for sharing so many awesome resources.
ОтветитьReally helpful! I'm glad you decided to make this series and I'm definitely going to try these supplements on my tables
ОтветитьJust picked up the GM's Miscellany books. Happy to help out the channel because Raging Swan puts out some good content, in m opinion. Thanks!
ОтветитьJust bought The Perilous Wilds on DrivethruRPG :)
ОтветитьConversate should be a word.
ОтветитьStarted running a Solo RPG for myself in a style that closely resembles season one of MMD and I am loving it! Fun, exciting, and also meditative. It helps fill that void of not having an in person game!
ОтветитьI was really surprised watching this now with season 3 out - is this the origin of the Inquisitor's Leap?
ОтветитьSold! And, with that, I believe I've bought nearly everything you've recommended 😅
ОтветитьWow, just discovered your channel and it truly is a golden mine for GM's tools. I am definitely going to watch them all!
ОтветитьIs tis the rug, who tied the room together😂🤣 thank you for this fabulous vid👍🏻🤘🏻
ОтветитьVague sense of unease while walking across the rug. Probably a mimic.
These DM tools are brilliant, even if you aren't a DM. They are great for generating writing prompts as well. 😁
