I am beyond impressed with this game. Look - I am 36 with 3 kids (7, 2 and 5 months) and a wife - so i have like NO time for video games. But, I got a gamers PC at work and I find the time to get some hours in LOLOLOL

Everything up to bloodsucker level is easier to kill with a knife. Those small rat things, dogs, fleshes sometimes even boars. Guns are for humans, big monsters and things like poltergeists and such.

Do yourself a favor and turn off the English dubs. The Ukrainian voice acting is so much better. The weird English accents and voiceovers kinda kill the immersion. You will find it plays so much better!

You must do some side missions to get better weapons and understand what is going on in the zone. You are missing out on allot of interesting stories.

I use all the ammo but if its yellow i take it to the traders for money

this is a great game, but you should unload the guns before dropping them, that way you'll more ammo

You need to feed your Stalker. I kept hearing his stomach grumbling as you were going through quiet segments. Also enemy humans and creatures can hear the stalkers guts rumbling.
