Been more of a tribalistic-fan of the older MH models, so while I'm happy there are a lot of people excited about these characters, I'm not all that enthusiastic about them. Neon hair colors, the more modern clothing themes, and a lack of grizzled features that usually accompany Hunters in their line of work (I could be missing it, however). Again; not going after the showcase or the direction developers are taking the designs, but I'm not a fan of it. Perhaps, given time, I'll grow to appreciate it.

Edit: If there is a timeline established that carries us a century or two into the future, however, that could change my outlook considerably. Hard to imagine a society could progress as far as they do with White Fatalis and Fatalis roaming around to crush any advanced civilization that begins to stand upright.

They are fat or big, while male characters look okay…why body creation lack adjustments, I want to make cute slime girl

Hey guys, just thought I'd ask.

While it didn't haplen in this game, I do wonder if character creation should effect the gameplay or not like in Dragon's Dogma.

Example, large characters having greater carrying capacity and greater stamina whilst smaller characters have the opposite.

I'm curious.

idk how yall think this game is woked ONLY cause it allows any kind of armor be used on any gender. In MH world, there were many male armor pieces i wanted to put on my female character but couldnt.

I see alot of people here still complaining about the lack of body slider

But honestly at least the jacked female character here look more feminine than most of the slop in the other modern games so that's a good thing

But seriously though the dev said long time ago that different bodies like slime or fat one would never be added to monster hunter games since it makes no sense that you're hunter is actively moving and smacking monsters with gigantic sword so it won't make sense for them to be slim or fat so at least let's be happy that we can just edit our body size at least

Even if it's not the most impressive game in terms of visual; there's something pleasing about the new faces of MH:Wilds. I dunno, they look great and real but are not too much realistic to keep the coherence with the visual style.

Character creation is one of the best I've ever seen

The hair is really impressive and just the overall char models are a nice step up from world.

No titty slider and the default is, yet again, smaller than average.

No sliders, calling it Body Type instead of Male and Female, Females using beards. That’s the DEI that Capcom had shown us in their documents that’s in all of their games now. The sharing armor thing goes along with that too. Wait till the next Resident Evils come out, especially RE5 remake, it’s only going to get worse.

Why are video game companies with character customisation have no plus-sized bodies? Are they fatphobic?

Only complaint would be lack of body sliders but otherwise it looks hella good
