ОтветитьVTech has a lot of potential if tuned professionally. People generally call VTEC slow however, it's tuned by Amateurs who wants to bash the gears just cause noise. I see a lot in VTEC it is the power of dreams

ОтветитьAhhh makes me miss my old 97 5 speed Civic coupe that had a b18c1 swapped into it and some aftermarket crap like intake and exhaust. Sure it wasn't the fastest or the flashiest...and it also didn't have A/C one summer...but it was so much fun to drive.

My girlfriends 2010 Honda Fit sport has I-VTEC, and it has to be one of the best sounding engines when you get on it I mean that thing screams at 5k rpm. Yes I know it’s slow but it sounds goood

When I was 16 my first car was an 89 Integra and that was alright and my second was a 93 Honda Civic VX which I loved but sold it for an 01 Impreza 2.5RS but I drive a friend's EG Civic hatchback with a B16 and a stage 6 clutch and that thing was a blast to drive which I need to get a Civic hatchback sometime in the future so I can add it to my collection of cars.
ОтветитьSeeing how much the ICE has evolved in the last 70 years, it saddens me that ignorant regulators want to kill it ASAP instead of creating the conditions for efficiency getting better. Promoting work at home would do more for carbon emissions than killing the ICE.

ОтветитьHonda became turbo because of this hysterical trend about pollution. They were forced ! Is not because they wanted or they couldn't make performance N/A engines anymore. Anyway true drivers will always enjoy N/A more . For average drivers that barely can change gears racing while going straight , turbo is the only way.

ОтветитьI'm in the process of putting a Y8 head on a Y7 block with a GT45 turbo along with many many other mods. I hope to eventually break the D16 world record of 822hp!!! I'm pushing for the 1,000hp record with a bunch of tricks that a man that has survived a 180+mph wreck has never heard of!!!!!

ОтветитьI'd like to see a company develop an engine that doesn't need all the added electronic governance and simply rely on the mechanical design to gain power and deal with pollution concerns. Today's cars, even a base, Honda has far too much electronics in it. More "Stuff" to go wrong!
