Obvesly with that stick he knows who s the boss.😂 You are beautiful ya all🩷
ОтветитьVery good advice & info!! As in any animal, you have to research each one.
Ответитьdonkey is a service animal, it needs to carry a load on its back saddle bags - it can carry a child in travel
ОтветитьDamn, I was about to go buy a farm and get donkeys 😮
ОтветитьThankyou ❤
ОтветитьTHEIR BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis concept is true with most animals. People tend to see the benefits of owning them, and not look into what it takes to care for them properly, which is behind why most of these animals become rescue animals. I have ducks, and I see people that go to places like TSC and buy cute little ducklings, then when they find out what it takes to raise them, they go and drop them off at some park or lake {not even realizing that they are not wild bred and won't be able to care for themselves}.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
ОтветитьI guess I don't want a donkey now 😂
ОтветитьExcellent info! Thank you!
ОтветитьIQ Test: Which is smarter a horse or a donkey? Well if a horse gets mad and wants to hurt you it just kicks wildly, whereas, a donkey turns around, looks at you, aims, and kicks you with bad intentions.
ОтветитьI'd rather get a donkey than a horse. I am aware they're...well... donkeys. I was also told a mini aussie would be a bad first time dog but here I am. I guess I play on hardmode when it comes to animals.
ОтветитьI wasn’t planning on getting one, but I clicked the video just in case you lacked conviction and triggered my rebellious streak to, in fact, get a donkey.
ОтветитьUgh I so wish people would consider this.
My son works with reptiles and this is such an issue. Tortoises live up to 150 years? Who is going to care for that tortoise or any of your other reptiles that live very long lives.
And of course all of the other things Ann is speaking to here.
We must be conscious of these issues when we choose our animals.
Listening to you I feel my heart swell bc I love this relationship we can have with our animals and all of the work and intuitiveness it takes. This is always something that has come naturally to me and is something I value in my soul.
While I’m the horses, goats, dogs and what’s considered more traditional “farm” animals,
my son has become a reptile expert.
Just this past month he has just bought a piece of land to create an environment of education of the reptile world, with a concentration in turtles.
I could not be more proud of his commitment to these creatures and his want for them to be bred, bought and sold, in the most responsible of manners.
Thanks for your videos Ann. They’re so important.
I need one just like her
ОтветитьYou Know What Young Lady??? You just made the world a better place with your insight and honesty about Donkeys.
I truly hope that Anyone considering getting 1 of these Animals finds your video.
Thank You Anne
Very informative and fascinating!
Ответить👍 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
ОтветитьThis is the first thing I’ve seen on donkeys! Very informative.
Ответить😂😵
ОтветитьI had gotten a donkey and never regretted it, she was the best pasture barn yard companion for all, humans and animals. Perfect for keeping away pesky wild life that were a threat to the herd and kept my dog busy with puppy chase but never got hurt. i could go on for days all the miracles Miss Bell my donkey was to the family.
ОтветитьA donkey became available near me and I was seriously considering adopting him, but then I watched this video and I had to say no. He was sent to the slaughter house the next day.
Thanks for the advice!
lady you are really a lucky and sweet owner of those awesome donkeys , good for you , enjoy them
ОтветитьA little off topic, but pet parrots are a huge commitment too. I found a cockatiel on the streets of San Francisco in 1995. Yup! Still have him! I think the key is a varied diet: vegetables, pellets, and seeds. And, sunlight! I put the big cage out in the sun with access to shade almost everyday. I think they must need to make vitamin D the way we do. Also, lots of stimulation. They are super smart.
ОтветитьI saw something on the donkey last week, or early this week-- said the k9 family is the enemy of the donkey. Foxes, dogs, wolves etc.... the donkey would pull no punches w a k9, would get down INSTANTLY if he isn't able to escape the situation! N think nothing of it!
The program i refer to explained that the donkey kicks ass n takes numbers
Okay, your title caught me. I mean I know that but I have my OwN reasons!!!
ОтветитьThank you! Very informative!
ОтветитьWow, you are a fantastic woman, explaining all this in such a perfect and understandable way! Every potential donkey owner should what this!
ОтветитьMost people cannot even care for a dog or a cat properly.
ОтветитьThis is great information. I hope people considering a donkey watch before getting one (or two). Having said that, I love your donkey(s) and wish I had the opportunity to get to know more about one. They're adorable 😍
ОтветитьI know what I'm looking for but somebody married her ❤
ОтветитьWe have a miniature guard donkey that lives with 2 horses. Donkeys are NOT horses. Donkeys are NOT dogs. A horse and dog will obey. Donkey will decide of you are worth his time.
We searched for a donkey that had a high predatory instinct, and yes, there are bloodlines that specifically bred for their guardian properties. You can train that, but to expect a donkey to just have that is not a way to go unless you aim to breed those qualities.
Get fat on air 😂🤣😍
ОтветитьNice... I'm so pleased I didn't buy a donkey
ОтветитьI think your amazing, live ya.
ОтветитьIf someone who is over 40, the best pet is a rescue...the older ones no one will take. They r so loyal, so greatful. Yes, u will probably outlive them but the feeling of knowing u rescued, loved and gave them the happiest days of their lives. Right now with the flooding in North Carolina Florida the fires there's so many displaced animals... Pets who have lost everything, that are needing someone to help them through the trauma and to give them a forever home. I just wanted to put that out there
ОтветитьWhaaaaaat? Dont get a DONKEY? AWWW look at its sweet lil face....😊
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing this video. 👍 I ❤ donkeys, and would live to have one, but haven't looked into the realities of bringing one on the property. You bring up valid concerns when deciding on having a donkey. I am 51 and knowing now that they live for 40 years is definitely giving me reason to pause and really look into this decision.
ОтветитьVery informative. Much appreciated!
ОтветитьThis is a great video! ❤
ОтветитьI'm not a very outdoorsy animal person, I'm still working up to a cat, but i love Donkeys and other animals. In another life I'd take care of livestock or something, part of me loves all that stuff, but part of me knows that it's not my thing. I'm just happy people are out there to take care of the animals.
ОтветитьIf I had a "farm" room/area, I would love to have a few donkeys.
ОтветитьDonkeys are so interesting! Thanks for sharing yours!! 40 years! What great advice to adopt a well-trained seniors!
ОтветитьLooks like training is similar to working with a dog to develop trust.
ОтветитьDonkeys take a special hand and a patient heart to train and live with.
ОтветитьI say the exact same thing about rabbits-my oldest niece bought one, and I ended up taking care of it for 8 years. Hay, bedding, and daily cleanups!
Ответить😊
ОтветитьDonkeys are awesome
