Good job! There is a ton of man hours involved with making all those patches, especially when you don't get them right the first time. Butt-welding sheet metal is an art. Some people won't even attempt it and just lap weld everything. Those old tarboard sound deadening pieces do well for keeping the interior quiet but they KILL metal when water gets underneath them. And, obviously, they are flammable. I think you may have an active leak occuring, probably should find that before putting the wrap on the interior.
Ответитьyaay you got a polarization filter. or its a phone camera?
ОтветитьHow do you resist the urge to throw out that carpet
ОтветитьYou fixed the floors on this Torino exactly how I'm fixing the rust on my 1990 F350. The previous owner made an attempt, but it made things worse. The way you and I are doing it is not perfect, but it will last for years and it's solid. That's something to be proud of.
ОтветитьNice job sir Nice Ford Nice show sir 😃👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьYou are very talented nice work!
ОтветитьI really enjoy this video. Thanks
ОтветитьYours is in better shape than mine. I have zero floors left. Project stalled. At least you can find floor pans. But I have a Ranchero, so its close but not quite. So, no floor pans ever. Sad that the car moves and drives but...only if I ride the C6 like a motorcyle. Yeah...health kept me from finishing.
Ответитьi had to put my eye protection on for the up close shots......most people would have said no thanks to that one but you put in the effort to save it , good on you
ОтветитьNice Nice nice
ОтветитьEach video really surpasses the previous one... Thanks for reviving so many classic cars! Greetings and admiration from Argentina 👍
ОтветитьThat's it I ordered a welder and got a truck from the junk yard!!! It was Simon's fault babe😂👊💯🤷♂️🔥🏅⛽️🇺🇸
Ответитьyep.
ОтветитьFun fact, the only channel that a 2 hour video is NOT LONG ENOUGH 😂😂😂
ОтветитьAll that work on a piece malaise-era junk and you keep the carpet. I want to stop, but can't look away. This is next-level turd polishing.
ОтветитьG'day from Sydney Australia!
Well, mate, all I can say is you have definitely got the skills for a job with ''Packastan astani engineer's "😂😂😂😂
Your videos are therapeutic! Well crafted well edited, great stories, without a word. Also, doing all of that with a $150 Harbor Freight flux welder, I am beyond impressed! You have mad skills, not just in the shop! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьBuen trabajo amigo😊👍👍
ОтветитьThank you Simon, you are the best and in fact pretty cool
ОтветитьKitty looking through the window 😻😻
ОтветитьNice job on the repairs, that looked like a pretty major job…thanks for the upload
Ответить🤙
ОтветитьI hope you pressure washed that old carpet before reinstalling it. Otherwise you put road salt right in on top of fresh metal. But the metalwork was excellent. 👌
ОтветитьСварочные работы лучше производить с помощью защиты углекислого газа! Швы гораздо качественней получаются! Проволока с флюсом ещё то дерьмо,шлаком забрызгивает и шов не красивый...
Ответитьfucking car
ОтветитьThis must have taken some time and effort to both do and edit together to make this episode, and it is great work 🙂. I have a project going im my garage that I am welding on and the time span to get it done is like: I hope it is still possible to get diesel fuel when its done 😅. Every little repair takes soo much time, but I can't say that it turns out better than yours anyway 😅. Guess I have a thing or to to learn to get things done more efficiently 🙂.
ОтветитьСыр является…. Вот это терпение.
Вот это целеустремленность!
😎👍
ОтветитьI gotta’ say….great video!👍🍻
ОтветитьIf rust repairs match or improve what the factory did in function and strength, then it's good looking to me. Another excellent upload. I've found that a contour gauge comes in handy when doing this kind of work. And a good quality reciprocating air saw. It precisely slices through sheet metal without all the sparks and dust. It's almost cheating.
ОтветитьUnreal skills. Great upload
Ответитьbro.... put your guard on your grinder
Ответитьwhat are you using to record?
ОтветитьLong long process but extremely awesome metal work 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
ОтветитьThat cat is like peak 70s - brown and shag carpet as far as the eye can see
ОтветитьI must say you don't disappoint, these fabrication skills you have are impressive. I enjoy these videos and keep em coming, your friends from New Mexico.
Ответитьno primer ?...
ОтветитьPerfect job 👍
ОтветитьOh yeah! Heavy metal rock and welding sparks. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьSimon u should have gone to the junk yard and cut out a good floor pan
Ответитьwell nice job considering you had to modify a mustang floor pan now you really need to get those seats done and oh yes please fix that broken piece on the front grill some good glue should do the trick then sound deaden the doors and the trunk when you get that fixed then buff the paint and enjoy and another point i love you work no never ending talk and no crazy music good for you and last as a cat lover give kitty a scratch behind the ears my cats love that
ОтветитьYeah I like ASMR, the sounds of grinding, welding, hammering, and banging without words.
Seriously though, it's beautiful. It inspired me to build up a car i was given, nothing as special as these, but definitely gave me a type of motivation i haven't had before.
Молодец
Ответить👍👍👍!!!
ОтветитьBrother i am doing the exact same thing right now with the same tools and welder, and this helped alot seeing that this can be done :)
ОтветитьYep the video title is on point
