Hello Ina, I came here after a mom in one of the Catholic groups I'm in recommended your channel there. I love this video because I can also relate since we are a one-income family and I can also relate when you said that you are living like no one else so you can enjoy like no one else later on coz this is exactly one of my husband's ideas that I love. I'll continue watching your other videos. My Filipino heart is telling me that you are a Filipina, but I could be wrong.❤❤❤

Thank you for your authenticity. I love bringing the little you have to Jesus trusting Him to do things we could never imagine.

I agree with Starbucks! I've not had one daily, but without a job at this time,im not splurging on one a week. It adds up. Please pray i find a job. My last job, none of us got paid on time then the next pay period,I had to wait 2 weeks! Then check bounced! We called Labor Board!

Did you bake the bread in that Jell-O mold? I didn't think you could do that.

I assume you meant $1,800 a month and not $18,000?

Did you have help with food? Last time I was in the US food was really expensive. At $825 a month rent that doesn't leave a family with an income of $1500 a month much for electricity and gas, let alone other costs. Maybe I got the math wrong.

18k a month is a substantial amount of money to live off of, even now. Did you mean 18k a year?

Now in my late 70s , this is a very special time of my life . The financial view tends to worry folks , but , by the Grace of God , I have what is needed and much of what was hoped for ! "The Ball Canning - Back To Basics" book has a wonderful recipe for Apple Pie Jam , which generates a lovely pile of cores and peels . The first time of making that jam , those "discards" became the first stages of apple cider vinegar and the second time , they were tossed into my small crockpot , covered with water and left on Low overnight to become apple juice ! A friend shared how to make shelf-stable Ghee from butter - one pound of unsalted butter yields two half-pint jelly jars of Ghee . Her method involves putting the butter ( I do two pounds at a time) into a deep dish oven-proof glass baker into a 250 degree oven for an hour and a half , turn off the oven and let the baker sit there for about 10minutes ( it tends to spurt without this little cooling) . Carefully bring the baker onto a hot pad and , without disturbing the layers , remove the lacey crust , then ladle the butter oil layer into hot , sterilized jars , wipe the rims and put on the hot lids and bands . Let the jars sit undisturbed overnight - the lids will "ping" signaling a good seal , so the next morning , you can date , label and store them in your pantry . Any that don't seal can go into your refrigerator , where they will get hard (like butter !) . Hope this helps !

This is a very wise advice - spending money on what you value, and value can mean different things to different people.

Love your videos! (Hint: to my old ears, your voice gets hidden in the music. I'd crank up your voiceover or back of on the music or its volume). 😍

For DAVE RAMSEY FANS - do NOT invest in mutual funds until you understand the fee structure. They tend to be very expensive and eat into your returns. Do as Warren Buffet says and invest into Vanguard S&P 500 (VOO). Watch Buffer,or Charlie Munger or even Mohnish Pabrai videos. These are top investors in the world.

Many years ago, found a tuna casserole with a free small easy recipes offered from pillsbury, it was tuna casserole, we was making this in the 70s and do still make even yet occassionally, dont dbl or triple the recipe anymore as kids are all grown and gone. Its a can of tuna drained, a can of cream of mushroom, a soup can of milk added and a bag of chips crunched up to blend in tuna , soup and milk and once you have all blended, you sprinkle broken potato chips across the top, pour a lil more milk over top if casserole seems dry,. Let it cook 30 to 35 min at 350 degrees.

Found out also canned chicken is great with same ingredients. Enjoy.
