OMG how can you recommend such an expensive eSIM card! At Thailand airport, a 15-day unlimited SIM card costs just 20 euros and at Holafly it costs almost 50 euros! I use a phone service from Australia - $20 for 365 day expiry, esim, gets me through the airport and Grab, while I slip in a local sim for cheap data. Easy!

So many people don't recon the destination.
They assume all is the same.
Classic mistake is going to thailand with no cash. Cash is easy there.
Go to a phone shop in a shopping centre for a sim. They do good deals.
Street food is good if you have a strong constituation.
Sombat tour buses are the best.

maybe do research before you travel, ATM fees are from your home bank not the country your traveling in, learn the laws and respect the country your travelling in, you dont need sim cards use wifi its everywhere, Research is key, bali and thailand are 2 very different countries

what a great video! another tip - I also land up saving up on unnecessary expenses like atm fees etc in South East Asia - using apps like ATM Fee Saver - it helps find atms with no fees or lower fees than others along with withdrawal limits etc. worth adding to your list of tricks!

Been to Thailand about 20 times and always get a local sim,easy and cheap and we only take cash to avoid any fees. We download the offline maps before we leave then after we check inn we go to a shopping centre and buy a sim for me and the wife that will last the trip and more. They set it all up for you.

Thai are White Worshipper. So Caucasians are really a living God, who enjoys the White Priviledge. As a Chinese born in Thailand, I would be treated as second class citizen. The old Thai law exits. It requires all Chinese to change first and last name to Thai in order to vote, get a government job, and buy property. They don't require any other races or nationalities to change.
