Drone Clay Cross 8th August 2019

Fascinating. I got to know the managers at the Clay Cross Company pipe foundry around '81-83 and it is a bit sad to see all traces of it vanished. I think Stanton's bought it out because it was a competitor and shut it down. Is that right? There was a fantastic collection of historical records kept by the company going back to George Stephenson. This is safe, surely?
