I am trying to keep following the situation in Ukraine, it is frankly seriously upsetting and depressing to hear of these appalling attacks by Russia. Then the clown car full of idiots in the Trump administrations fecklessness, ignorance and arrogance. It's almost all too much.

The revival of Bolshevism and Sovietism in Putin's Russia is as real as the mummy of Lenin, this chief Bolshevist, which lies in the center of Moscow and is worshiped by everyone.

I did listen to Battlelines earlier. TBH, the reporting on their podcast is more professional, more nuanced, and seems more 'medically detached' but not dispassionate either. It probably won't achieve the popularity and the clout of this now celebrity podcast, which I still will listen to, of course, but I hope fleeting old school reporting has its hour for a time again.
