It does look pretty bad aesthetically, but I do like the "lottery" (with some information) mechanic. reminds me a bit of lords of vegas. Looks fun!

What's the best website to go to if you're looking to buy out of print or hard to find board games?

Immediately skipped to final thoughts when I saw the board.....game may be great, but I will never know....no thank you !

We're paying for an experience when we buy a board game. At least some effort should go into the presentation. Hard pass and Rio Grande Games' brand takes a hit for putting this out in this state. not impressed.

A game called Blue Skies has an image of a red sky on the cover.

Panning the components is great, but you need to do something to smooth the camera at that time, it looks quite amateur with the camera jerking around.

I’m definitely not someone who needs fancy components. Some of my favorites of all time are pretty drab-looking euros. But that board, that scoreboard, and those cards are an absolute dealbreaker for me right off the bat. There’s a difference between uninteresting but functional (like most alea games), and low-effort laziness (like this). This looks like a prototype sent out before the graphic design team even started work.

The Component Pan and Scan has a voyeuristic vibe to it. I feel like we're spying through a window.

I like that they went for an old-school style but this looks horrifying.

What do you mean you don't get the 70s theme? That board certainly looks like it was made in the 70s.

I stopped watching this after seeing how ugly the game is.
