Why are you worried about what people pay? Calling people names because they buy trucks is childish. Some of the people bitching about truck buyers drop big time money on a BMW or Benz that cost an arm and a leg to get a damn oil change/serviced and break down 2 miles past the 50,000 mile warranty and get bent over on the insane price of repairs...you dont see me going on those reviews and calling people who buys those idiots and so on...because what a person buys is their damn business...besides, I cant haul cattle to the auction yard in X5...

That is not a STANDARD BED!!

Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can NOT even be ordered or does NOT come with the “power brake and foot pedal” adjuster.... Think about such a large truck without this option....If you have short legs, you have to move up the seat close to the steering wheel, which has an airbag in it.
This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...Note-I actually own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature (so they added rear vents finally but deleted the Power Pedal feature. Yah, this makes sense). Maybe a GM truck engineer will recommend removing the Power Window option while they’re removing other options or features.

Apparently California gasoline is complete garbage these days and traffic is fucking horrible, because the majority of reports claiming bad fuel economy with these new trucks are all made by auto journalists in Cali.

You mean they are ASKING 50 grand and my wife has to use a bar to slide the passenger seat? What a damn joke. I'll wait a couple years let someone else fart in the seat and eat the depreciation.

Was at the transmission shop the other get service was 2016 chevy silverado quad 90000 with blow transmission beside the payments on it has to get a transmission insane at the cost and should have a better warranty mean time workers on strike wht a joke

I have heard so many reviews if this truck by well intended people that got many facts and figures wrong. You did a very solid and accurate assessment of this truck. I have an LT Trail Boss. I gave managed 19.7 mpg on a highway trip; i would say that in town mpg is lackluster but i did trade in a Tundra so i am still saving at the pump.

I see so many people complaining about MPG in a brand new vehicle....you do realize the MPG will get better as the engine breaks in, right? Also, you want 25+ MPG, get a car or a diesel...not a gas 4x4.

These trucks are junk. My 2019 Silverado 1500 LTZ is 6 weeks old with 850 miles on it and I already have that infamous hard shift issue. Will not buy a GM truck again. Very disappointed

If you wait until the end of the year these go on sale. I paid 43k for my LT Trail Boss. The LTZ models were 48k.

You complain that the materials arent nice enough and then say that there shouldnt be leather. Make up your mind!

I just bought the 2020 LT TB and for the price, it should've been a LTZ.

I can easily get the 20mpg highway that these are rated for, in my 2019 trail boss LT

My crew cab Silverado 2 WD gets 21.7 mpg. 5.3 liter

I have a 2020 Custom Trail Boss, just love it and getting much better mileage that your test run. I can do 19 MPH on the highway and I do have the 5.3 in a double cab which would be a lighter truck.

I bought the exact color & LT truck like you drove, except mine has a sun roof, and it died with electrical problem in 8 days & only 400 miles of travel, but the dealership after not finding any problem still forced it back on me!

Think long and hard before you buy this truck! I wish I would have!!!!! On the Internet people are complaining of many problems with this truck including MANY electrical, breaking, and transmission failures. Most of them are assembled in Mexico not the United States. And just remember, you might have a few days to return a vehicle if it’s used from a dealership but if you buy a brand new vehicle in most states, after you sign those papers & drive off the lot, it belongs to YOU, and you just can’t just give it back as easy as you might think, no matter what happens! MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that you get a GM Premium extended warranty and don’t buy the garbage extended warranty that many dealerships way over charge & supposedly back themselves!

I bought a 2020 RST Z71 last month. I average 22 mpg high way at 65mph. 19mpg combined city/ highway. Just like the sticker says. You must have a heavy foot. I'm very pleased with the mileage for the power it delivers.

I own a 2020 Trail Boss LT, 5.3 with 10 speed transmission..I've had ZERO issues and my highest highway average was 23.4 mpg with it 8K on the truck so far and I absolutely love it......btw I traded my 2020 Ram Rebel in on it, the truck had 2 different electrical issues and couldn't get better than 14.5 mpg....I'll never buy a FCA product again!! Love my first Chevrolet!!

When i got my truck it was stiff and got like 16mpg..... 1 year later plenty loose and 19 mpg LT 1500 Z71

I bought one for the family , I really love the truck but the frame wax is the only thing I hate, has anyone considered swapping it out for proper undercoating?
