If you ever start doing tours let me know and I'll be the 1st to sign up. Unless I get my own freedom first, then maybe I'll be giving the tours.😂😁

I love the petroglyphs, but yes it sucks that people ruin beautiful pieces of history.

It seems weird that my great grandparents were sent to Umatilla when they lived in the Willamette Valley and many generations are buried there at the same cemetery as many Grand Ronde tribes ancestors. It just shows that the tribes blended also.🙂

I love this. I like to make things and 1 thing has been on my mind. What are the patterns and historic designs of my indigenous ancestors in Oregon. I can't wait to some day just be able to go to the different places and museums especially. I'm Walla Walla, Cayuse, Okanogan, nez perce. My ancestors spoke Chinook jargon to.🙂 My 5th great grandfather signed the treaty of 1855. His decendants were part of the confederated tribes of the Umatilla and we didn't go far because I was born and raised and still live in Clackamas County. Very happy to see this piece of history in our area I feel is missing yet I look for constantly and feel like the horse they hid the water from.😊 ❤
