The obvious advantages of crypto mining on solar power is using clean energy, eliminating bills for electricity consumption and benefitting from government incentives. There are, however, quite a few problems with solar crypto mining. Solar panels don’t work at night, and you need a lot of then to power even a small mining rig. For bitcoin mining, you would need more than just an average home solar system. You would have to set up a whole farm to power a mining farm — a simple DIY solar panel system won’t do it for you.
