Ответить.A flees hat wil keep you really warm in bed and is very comfy as well.😊
ОтветитьWool or fleece is needed. If you igloo your car to 4 to 6 inches from the front window all the way around the car 100 % leaving 1/4" on the driver window.
Here in TX working with the homeless I had to make sure a homeless woman got the help she needed, and I ran out if time to find a place to plug in. So, I know God showed me how to survive a 28° degree night in a toasty 46° car.
Thanks for the wonderful example of humanity. ❤
ОтветитьI would line the sleeping bag with an emergency blanket so you are really toasty. Libraries are also a great place to hangout all day. You have Internet access bathroom facilities. The world is your oyster. Bookstores late night shopping trips.
ОтветитьI was so hot last night in the van and I’m in New England lol
ОтветитьI been living in my RV for 12 yrs. Get a heater. I have a Mr. Heater is propane but all u have do at night open your window a little so air come in to vent. Walmart has a heater for $12. Keep warm and keep safe.
ОтветитьLove how you fixed your van and the decoraded colors you put, I want to buy my son a van to make it his home because his homeless, I love to see this kind of post it gives me ideas, you look 😃 and live well❤️💯💖
ОтветитьI love your spirit mini, as living in tight spaces can be challenging in crazy weather but you also get to go wherever your heart desires and you cant replace the unique experiences you have while on the road.
Ответитьyour smart and glad your happy safe travels to you!
ОтветитьHello Lee long time no see, glad to see you. 😊
ОтветитьPeople always show van camping, but what happens when your van brakes down? I was aware curious
ОтветитьGet a halo bolt ,heated blanket and down comforter
ОтветитьEcoflow are great, only takes 40mins to charge ftom 0% to 80%... I plug mine in my car 12 volt. And plug it in the mains when showering at the gym
ОтветитьI wa concerned about warmth. Did not want to go budfy heater for not liking idea of lighting fire in my vehicle. I invested in Teton rectangular slleeping bag. It is huge 43 inches wide and 90 inches long. It has a temperature rating of 35 degrees below zero. It is amazing and super comfy. So spacious. Cost about 150.00 on-line but well worth it.
ОтветитьCongratulations on 30,000 subscribers 🎉🎊🥳
Ответить30 cold? No way dude 🤙🏻
ОтветитьVery Helpful! 1st time viewing…
ОтветитьWhenever the weather gets really bad do you stay in a hotel room ❤❤❤❤ just asking
ОтветитьYou drive south to warmer weather , that's how to stay warm
ОтветитьBest way to not freeze is having a warm partner to snuggle with. Wish I was available but I’m taken
ОтветитьHot water bottles......one at your feet and one at your lower-back will keep you toasty all night. 😊
ОтветитьHave you heard of those crisco candles that burn for 72 hours. Put it under a terra cotta planter with vent area underneath. Use a small fan to distribute heat..
ОтветитьHow do you get wifi ?
ОтветитьBeen living out of vehicles for 5+1/2 years. SE Wisconsin. Am now 65 yrs old and have spent many cold nights in either a pickup truck or van. Have done minus 25° fahrenheit. A couple days ago I was about to rent a room or something and the van I'm using suddenly had no heating whatsoever in below zero temps. Pulled in to a gas station convenience store to investigate. Coolant all over in the engine compartment. Went inside got a cup of coffee and made a phone call. Managed to drive it 10 miles to a place I could park and stay indoors with some new friends. Days later and I still don't know what is leaking, a hose or whatever but in 25 below zero weather with wind chill it's too cold to work on it. I'm done with it. Sleeping in a van or whatever for a short period of time is okay, like camping, but making it your "lifestyle" is just plain stupid. My new friends have pointed this out and I agree because it came close to literally killing me this time. Still recovering from how cold I got that day. Stop fooling yourselves, there's nothing "cool" about "van life".
ОтветитьLibraries are excellent places to go without the need to feel rushed. Plus a lot of them have cozy places to sit and WiFi.
ОтветитьI’m a 70 year old man and I love my clean, warm apartment. I can’t believe some of the inconveniences that you go through. Just the basics like bathroom, personal hygiene, etc. On top of that you may have security issues, mechanical breakdowns, obscure or nonexistent places to park for the night and so on. I just don’t see any romantic angle in that lifestyle. As an observer, it seems adventurous and idyllic, but I think in reality, it’s a pain in the ass.
However, more power to you. You have a stronger constitution than myself.
Go inside the airport. It's warm inside
ОтветитьYou are so darn precious, I haven’t seen you in a while, and guess what , I don’t know about anybody else, but I missed you❤
ОтветитьI’m not sure if this is appropriate, but do you have Zelle? I would love to Zelle you some money if you need not that I have a lot. I’m in a mobile home but you remind me of somebody. Oh yeah me.
ОтветитьEres muy valiente!! Te admiro demasiado!! Saludos desde Columbus Ohio!!❤❤❤ cuídate mucho!!.
ОтветитьHi Lee! Libraries are good spots to visit and you can hang out as long as you want. Wi-Fi, books, and a snack bar with hot beverages it's warm and cozy. They have charging outlets for you to use freely. Libraries are sanctuaries. I hope you have some close by to visit. Take care out there.
ОтветитьI put reflectix in between blanket comforter. Toasty.
ОтветитьGreat video! I'm a new subscriber and look forward to binge watching 👀 your videos! 😅 I'm 61yrs old and just getting started full time. My home state base is Charleston SC 😊
ОтветитьYou are so adorable!
ОтветитьJust curious, do you have a throw blanket that will plug into your power bank cigarette lighter?. I purchased one and works pretty good.
ОтветитьHow do keep it warm in there?
ОтветитьCan you have sleepover if so im there your cool
Ответитьnow a fan.
ОтветитьYou need long underwear & a battery heater!
ОтветитьGET SOME SMOKELESS CANDALS from the dollar store warm as toast...
ОтветитьI tried this lifestyle and realized it wasnt for me. I absolutely could not get a solid restful sleep knowing people could just come over and pound on the window (yes, some did). It was a good effort and my van was comfy and cute but having to decide every day, where will I go, park, eat, wash, etc - it really felt unsettling. If you can do it, thats amazing, good for you.
ОтветитьLee, maybe …could you donate your time and skills at a volunteer position?
ОтветитьThat is really nice ❤❤ thanks for sharing
ОтветитьGreat advice 💛
ОтветитьJackery solar panels say not to get them wet. To keep dust off, etc. The 1000watt Explorer has two panels that can be in line charging together. In the sun, my van gets hot, and this high roof is hard to use, as a senior, no build cargo Van of the mid size. We get a lot of dust, moisture via fog or rain, in Winter and February, California Central Coast.
ОтветитьI purchased a case of butane left in the plastic wrapper and put it in storage. It dissipated on its own, and when I went to use it, there was nothing in any of the bottles I was bummed.
ОтветитьLove you mini Van Lee.
ОтветитьHi Lee, I have a question for you. Are you allowed to store butane at your storage facility? Here in Connecticut we are not allowed to store fuel of any sort. I was just curious if the laws were different there. Because this is a vital concern of mine. Because I don’t wanna keep a lot of fuel in my van. We have a minivan as well. We recently spent the night in the minivan and it was about 32° outside and we were freezing and we have a huge electric blanket and a power station, but the power station died really fast in the cold. We do have a butane heater, but that did not heat the minivan to where we could sustain so I know you have a video. I’m watching it now on how to stay warm but I was just curious if there’s any other things that you do to keep warm in the winter and where you are, does it drop that low thank you so much.
