Thanks for this. Reminds me of Gospel Sundays on TV when we lived in Kericho's tea estates. We met at the Social Hall, and kids were not allowed to sit on the chairs so we had to rest on the floor struggling to get the best views of the shared TV. Makoma was among our favourites then. 25+ years later and the memories are fresh.
