Christian Coleman's quick start gave him enough of a cushion to hold off a charging Noah Lyles to take home the victory in the 100-meter at the Bermuda Grand Prix.

Noah would never be expected to win the 100 against Coleman. The fact that it was this close is scary for Coleman

Colemans start is insane - yeesh. He is already halfway to his third stride before Lyles even puts his foot down for his second. This was almost a fail though, letting up there for the last 5-10 meters.....almost looked like a photocopy of the time Lyles caught him in the last 50.

Coleman is that guy in the 100. Congrats to him every time. Lyles closing in like that was scary, but that is expected as he only gets faster. They are both NEEDED for the Men's 4x100 in Paris. Coleman comes off the blocks like a rocket which makes him hard to beat.

9.80 by lyles, hoo boy. he might run sub 19.3 in the 200 soon. he's starting to figure out his start, and he's already one of the best closers in history. the 200 is long enough he might shave off another 10th don't @ me jamaicans!

Put it this way. This is not Nyles best event. It's the 200. Nyles can hang with, and once in a while (with a rare bad start by Coleman) beat him in the 100. Coleman would get smoked everytime he raced Nyles in the 200.
